Thursday Fun & More about Myself

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!

I know that perhaps some of you might find this strange, but I have always loved the rain!  I love the sound of it beating on a window or umbrella, I love the fresh smell of the air, I just have always loved rain.  Of course I don't like flooding or disasters! Tuesday was a rainy and chilly day, strong winds, and I just enjoyed it.  I have always had the philosophy that complaining about the weather doesn't change it, so why not enjoy it?  Deal with it. Live in the moment. This has helped me get through some tough times and situations in life. Thank you so much for listening!  :)

The videos I have chosen for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Sangria - Three Ways (Thirsty for)

The Unanswerable Phone Call (The Original Candid Camera)

Bowling Alley (The Original Candid Camera)

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

First Aid for the Soul - Be good to you!
Be yourself, truthfully.  Accept yourself, gratefully.
Value yourself, joyfully. Forgive yourself, completely.
Treat yourself, generously.  Balance yourself, harmoniously.  Bless yourself, abundantly. Trust yourself, confidently.  Love yourself, wholeheartedly.
Empower yourself, immediately.  Give yourself, enthusiastically.  Express yourself, radiantly.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  5. Black cat crossing the road, in our belief is considered as a bad omen. We belief that our wishes and plans would not be fulfilled.

  6. Lots of people love the rain, so it's not strange. We can't hear the rain on our roof because it's a tiled one.

  8. Very funny videos, sangria very well crafted video, a very typical Spanish drink.
In Spain we have spent an abnormal heat wave for this time of year.
    A greeting.

It rains almost every day in my home country, Malaysia.
Usually it happens in the afternoon, it's heavy thunder storm but only for a very brief period. Then it's scorching hot again.

  14. Good morning, dear Linda! This is a great batch of videos. I haven't thought about Candid Camera in quite a while but it was a big part of my childhood. It was fun seeing Allen Funt and Durward Kirby (whom I always knew as Durwood Kirby) side by side hosting the popular prank series. The phone that can't be answered was funny, but the bowling piece was priceless. It demonstrates how hard it is to remain supportive and happy for someone who seems to have all the luck.

    Happy Thursday, dear friend Linda!

  15. I like the procrastinating one and also the First Aid for the Soul. I like rain too; not every day or with wind, but just a steady rain. I don't like driving in the rain though. I also love thunder and lightening! How about you?

  22. Oh my goodness, I couldn't stop laughing with the Candid Camera videos especially the bowling one.
I love thunderstorms, the rain, wind, thunder and lightning but no tornadoes. I find storms relax me. I must be weird.
Have a wonderful stormy night my friend. See ya.

  23. Linda, all the videos were great and so were all the quotes. We had a tin roof when I was growing up and I loved hearing the rain drops hitting that roof. Have a blessed day. Madeline

  39. Here in Colorado people say, "If you don't like the weather, wait an hour." I'm with you, Linda: Deal with it. Live in the moment. If everything was always the same, it might get boring. That said, "The Princess Sassy Pants" quote today is resonating with me! LOL! Have a great Friday!
