Thursday Thoughts

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Depressed Goat is Reunited with his Best Friend, a Donkey

How to Make a Zen Garden on a Budget

Champus (Thirsty for)

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Friends don't make friends wait in hot cars. (animal or human!)

A moment of patience in a moment of anger prevents a thousand moments of regret.

What the world needs most from you is the thing you love to do!

What distracts us from happiness is the noise our mind makes.  Flowers, trees and animals are joyful and peaceful, because they are not distracted by trying to be something that they are not.  They are just being themselves.

Create a most delightful journey.  Treasure family. Aspire, inspire, share goodness.

Truly, deeply, embrance the love you are, so that each negative thought that comes to mind is dissolved by the warmth of your heart.

A childlike joy within will open many hearts.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share.

  2. Yes, there have been cases where mums left their kids in the car...and cases where they died in the heat some more. So terrible!!! Those mums should be charged with murder! Tsk! Tsk!

  15. Good morning, dear Linda! I laughed at the gag video. I doubt motorists here in the USA would remain as patient as those Canadians did whilst waiting for that elderly woman to cross the street. It was very touching to see that depressed goat come alive when reunited with his friend the donkey. It proves that animals have feelings, too. I'm happy to know that they and the other animals rescued from the hoarding environment have a better life now. I am eager to try that hearty Champus breakfast beverage and will show the recipe to Mrs. Shady.

    Thank you, dear friend Linda!

  24. The goat story resonated with me. I used to raise Nigerian Dwarf Goats and I had a miniature donkey. When one of the goats had twins, "Dottie" the donkey stole one of them at birth and hid them in the far corner of the field. If I hadn't thought I saw trash along the fence line, I would have never found it. She had licked it clean and wanted to keep it for herself.

When I returned it to Mama, Dottie would wait till it nursed and then pull it over next to her; then she'd lay down and the goat would snuggle up near her. It was amazing. They were both pretty happy about the situation and she had chosen the one Mama goat that was easygoing enough to allow her to do that.

  39. I get so angry when I see dogs in hot cars. Okay, I had my dogs in the car when I went into the farmer's market today, but I had the top down and the windows all the way open in my convertible and backed up under a shady tree. That's no different than leaving them outside, right? Plus, I watched them the entire time.
