For those of you who visit my blog daily, or on a very regular basis, you will have noticed that I have been sharing a lot of paintings by Candy Waters, Autism Artist. What I know of her is she is a beautiful 14 year old girl who is non-verbal, Autistic and has an incredible talent! When I found out about her art on Facebook, I sent a message after liking her page, and her mother responded. I asked permission to use her paintings on my blog, and I showed her my blog link and she happily agreed and gave her permission to use Candy's paintings on my blog. I am so glad that many of you seem to be enjoying her art as well, and thank you all so much for your kind responses to my posts on Candy's art and everything else I post. I really appreciate you all. :)

I like the Candy Waters painting, ii is full of feeling and joy of colours
ReplyDeleteYes, something about good manners in my blog post today - how people will just help themselves to things, without the simple basic courtesy of asking first...and much less, say thank you. Sad, very very sad.

ReplyDeleteGood morning, dear Linda! Thank you for telling me about Candy Waters. I will look more closely to make sure I don't miss her work here on your blog. Ironically, I have a 14 year old niece with autism and she is also a talented artist. "Thank you" for posting a couple of videos that remind us how powerful kind words can be, spoken or written.
ReplyDeleteThank you again, dear friend Linda, and happy Thursday!
Hello Linda,
ReplyDeleteEncore de jolis posts.J'ai beaucoup aimé "importance for a thank you".
C'est vrai qu'aujourd'hui, on oublie de remercier. Merci est un tout petit mot et peut faire tant de bien ... c'est comme savoir sourire.
Bon jeudi à toi. Bisous
hi there Linda.. it's my first time here ^_^
ReplyDeleteThis is actually a great topic... a lot of us today forgot to appreciate simple things and say thank you to let them know how much we felt them...
I remember our former parish priest said.. when he is riding a passenger jeepney, he always sit behind the driver and the passengers were about to pay, he voluntarily lend his hand to bring it to the driver... interestingly, he try to observe the passengers and see who among them knows how to say thank you.. unfortunately there were only few... although I am not expecting anything in return, I somehow felt bad if a friend or a family member didn't even say thank you after helping them... well, i mean, i'm not expecting them to say that but hearing them saying thank you is just good enough for me to know that they appreciate my help right?
Thanks for sharing and this adorable Candy Waters has done a great great job with her painting.. such an inspiration
By the way I added you in my blog roll so I can visit you more often
