Friday Fun

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Drone Footage of Grey Whale Mother and Calf Playing with Tourists

Isle of Capri - Perez Prado

Love is a Many Splendored Thing - Connie Francis

This cockatoo is having a Really Bad Day (I posted this video a long time ago;  however, not this version, as this version is equipped with the words). I laughed so hard.  Enjoy!!!  :)

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

There is more than one road to happiness.  But the journey begins at Gratitude Blvd.

How Canadians are hatched:  eggs are laid in early fall and hatch mid-winter.  The pucklings slowly make their way into the forest to forage for syrup amongst the moose.

In order to move on you must understand why you felt how you did and why you no longer need to feel it. - Mitch Albom

Keep putting out good.  It will come back to you tenfold in unexpected ways.

The tragedy is not failing.  It's not trying.

It's okay not to be okay as long as you are not giving up.

A thought can't hurt you unless you believe it.

Never doubt...you are much stronger than you think!

One ought every day at least, to hear a little song, read a good poem, see a fine picture, and, if it were possible, to speak a few reasonable words. - Johann Wolfgang von Goethe

Practice humility; humility and inner peace go hand in hand.

May you walk in the light of your purpose...and may all who cross your path be blessed.

Be excited about what is to come!

The biggest enemy of success is "fear of failure" so when fear knocks at your door, send courage to open the door and success will wait for you.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always enjoy and appreciate reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  15. Good morning, dear Linda! This is the best batch of videos ever. There's something about getting your fingers caught in a mousetrap that is especially terrifying to people and that made today's gag video hilarious. Isn't is amazing the aerial shots captured by drones these days? I don't know if I would feel safe sticking my hands under the water to pet those whales. When I was 8 years old Perez Prado had a number one instrumental hit with "Patricia." Connie Francis is one of my favorite singers. She was one of the most prolific and versatile recording artists of the 20th century, able to sing convincingly in several languages. That ranting cockatoo video is indeed a classic! (LOL)

Thank you for your faithful friendship and support, dear friend Linda, and have a wonderful weekend!

  16. Hi Linda! Thanks for your comments. You have some really funny pieces on your blog today. I'm never going to stick my hand into a bag of popcorn again! And "Meanwhile in Canada" is a riot, as are those "shrimp cocktails." Good job!

  17. It would be a thrill to see the whales like that, but it also seems dangerous. The mama whale was way bigger than that boat. Think of the damage she could do if she became anxious or aggressive. But, if I put aside my personal trepidation, the video is amazing. The cockatoo was hysterical.
