Sunday Scoop

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Tenderly - Oliver Jones (Oliver is a Montreal-born performer who lives here in Montreal)

Squirrel Grand National

Il Silenzio - Nini Rosso

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

If you love something, love it completely, cherish it, say it, but most importantly, show it.  Life is finite and fragile, and just because something is there one day, it might not be the next.  Never take that for granted.  Say what you need to say, then say a little more.  Say too much.  Show too much.  Love too much.  Everything is temporary but love.  Love outlives us all.

What one little act can you do today to make the world a better place?  Take action.  Make kindness contagious.

Please make sure you don't see yourself through the eyes of those who don't value you.  Know your worth, even if they don't.

Educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all. - Aristotle

Dream with your heart and love with your soul.

Let the rain kiss you.  Let the rain beat upon your head with silver liquid drops.  Let the rain sing you a lullaby. - Langston Hughes

Love yourself.  Without your flaws, you wouldn't be you.

Each morning we are born again.  What we do today is what matters most. - Buddha

By swallowing evil words unsaid, no one has ever harmed his stomach. - Winston Churchill

You will be happier if you want what you have instead of insisting on having what you want.

Time is like a river.  You cannot touch the same water twice, because the flow that has passed will never pass again.  Enjoy every moment of your life.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  7. That Nini Rosso's Il Silenzio was a big hit here in the 60's. Loved it!!! Didn't know then that it is the song played as a tribute to fallen war heroes.

  31. Hi Linda! I hope that you are enjoying a lovely Sunday, Linda! I've been reading through your last couple of posts and today's. It's inspiring to see how many encouraging words you can put in just a few posts ~ a lot about being kind, loving, and gentle with ones self. That's so important. And it's so important to get help when you struggle with anxiety! Loved the gags too. So ridiculously funny! Have a great week, my friend! Hugs!
