Montreal police wore hilarious pants as a pressure tactic in a labour dispute. (and this has been going on for quite a long time, too)
Whatever comes along, you'll get through it. At some point you'll learn to stop fighting, to stop struggling, to stop complaining, and allow yourself to successfully handle whatever comes your way.

i must admit, i've always been a bit wary of black cats ... due to the superstition that they're unlucky, heh! :)
ReplyDeleteLOL Sean! I have had 3 black cats in my life and they were all beautiful and very sweet. They are not bad luck and I actually don't believe in luck, because to me life is what we make it. Black cats are beautiful, trust me, and there is no luck involved here. :) Just love.
DeleteI read somewhere that the pound won't let black cats be adopted near Halloween because of what might happen to the black cats.
DeleteHi Ivy, this is true! There are some very cruel people out there that will harm black cats. Here in Montreal a couple of months ago there was someone who was mutilating and killing stray cats and the police were looking for him/her. I hope that they caught and charged the person. :(

ReplyDeleteAh yes...silence is loaded with answers, for sure! That's why the best thing you can do when someone is being obnoxious online is to just ignore the person. Often they'll end up looking like a complete jerk.
ReplyDeleteHi, dear Linda! My favorite video today was the one paying tribute to black cats. When I was a boy, my aunt and uncle had a black cat named Felix and a white cat named Sam. I loved them both. In recent years I befriended a stray black cat that came to my house for food and water. I named him Boots because all of his paws were white. A kind neighbor woman adopted Boots before I moved away. That was remarkable footage of the paddleboarder surfing directly over a shark. It's a wonder the shark didn't attack. Aerial views of our world captured by drones have revolutionized cinematography.

ReplyDeleteHey, I just returned from visiting Montreal and Ottawa and the surrounding areas. Beautiful places; the Capital Building is superbly stunning along with all the Churches in Montreal. That Chinese song is very nice. The 1st video was hillarious and all these writings/sayings are so nice. I'm going to steal them from you :-)
