Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:

Man Walks Pet Tortoise in Japan

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

How you doing?  :)

In a world where you can be anything, be yourself.

Standing alone is better than standing with people who don't value you.

Sometimes you have to sink down further than you've ever been to rise up higher than you've ever gone.

Studies show that pets are great furry therapy. They relieve stress, lower blood pressure and reduce cortisol (which is associated with depression and anxiety).  Plus they elevate oxytocin (linked to happiness and relaxation).  And they are gosh darn cute!

The desire to reach for the stars is ambitious.  A desire to reach hearts is wise. - Maya Angelou

If you want improved relationship, improve your health.  You have more to give others when you feel energetic, focused and comfortable in your skin.

Learning lessons does not end.  There's no part of life that doesn't contain its lessons.  If you're alive, that means there are still lessons to be learned. - Cherie Carter-Scott

It's really not that complicated to live inspired and more joyfully even amidst undesirable circumstances as long as you can slow down from the inside to notice when your thinking is affecting your experience.

We all smile in the same language. :)

If you get knocked down, take a look around...you might find unexpected wonders.

The things in life that really matter are rarely on my "to do" list.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  4. I’ve never seen a man walking his tortoise in the neighborhood, but it’s so fun to see especially such a cute tortoise. Sometimes I feel I never learn a lesson repeating the same kind of mistake and I can’t help but laugh at myself in the constant choices and consequences. Have happy days ahead, Linda.

  5. The Cayman Islands look like a wonderful place to me! Even though it's still summer, I am already wearing a scarf, coat and this morning I contemplated putting something on my head to keep my ears warm. A bit of a warmer climate sounds like heaven :-)

  20. Hello Linda

  22. Good morning, dear Linda! Today's gag video made me laugh out loud. The one man caught stealing the police cruiser acted so nervous that it makes me think he was on parole. Those tips for stress management are excellent. I would like to add that playing your favorite music and singing and dancing to it is another good way to unwind and beat stress. God bless that huge tortoise. The creature will surely be sad when he outlives his owner. I hope he winds up with another caring person who takes him for daily walks.

    Happy Thursday, dear friend Linda!

  29. Good morning Linda. I went on a cruise and one island we stopped off was the Cayman Island. In fact there is spot in the video that shows a Carnival ship right there. It could have been my ship. LOL. That was the time when I met a former student of mine. He was working in a bank. I met his wife and she was beautiful. The Cayman Island was a very beautiful place to go and maybe someday I'll want to go back there.
Have a beautiful Thursday my friend. See ya.

And it really works! But I don't have to fake a smile when I think of you, Linda! I can't keep a real one off my face! Hugs!
