Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!

Australia's Luxury Train (1962)

Friendly Turtle

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

You want to come in my life, the door is open.  You want to get out of my life, the door is open.  Just one request.  Don't stand in the door, you're blocking the traffic.

Broom closet - a girl's got to have options.

The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear.

Eat to fuel your body.  Not feed your emotions.

I don't do hurry.  I don't do worry.

Some people's weakness is that they care too much. It is also their strength. - Brigitte Nicole

You are unique.  You are here to fulfill a special role. You are here to contribute to this planet in a way only you know how to do.

If I had never experienced the pain I've gone through, I never would have become who I am today.  And I'm quite fond of myself (for the most part).

I think you've confused me with someone who builds a dam.  :)

As we grow up, we realize it becomes less important to have a ton of friends, and more important to have real ones.

Every day is a chance to get better.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

    Coucou Linda!
    MERCI pour ce joli post

Je te te souhaite une bonne journée ! bisous!

  2. Bonjour Linda, I enjoyed all the videos today for different reasons. The one about the horse was lovely. The horse looks like he is too skinny though. I hope somehow he got enough to eat over time. Have a wonderful weekend.

  3. I love the witch with the fun options.

  4. heh, the broom closet poster is cute and witty ... which reminds me, i don't own a broom! :)

  5. Lovely owl. I've a few friends collecting...anything with owls.

I saw some pygmy ponies, even smaller than normal ponies in the country last week!

  8. The quieter you that...Silence is golden...

  9. Hi Linda, I loved the friendly horse and turtle. As always, I enjoyed the hilarious gag and those wonderful quotes. Have a lovely weekend... :)

  10. Good morning, dear Linda!

One of these days that gag video crew is going to give somebody a heart attack. It's shocking to find a boy blowing bubbles inside a water bottle! :) I wonder where that friendly horse came from, the one encountered on a jungle road. He looked well fed and it was nice to see him respond to human kindness. I was surprised to see that large turtle hanging around while being petted. Perhaps curiosity got the best of him. Thank you for another video about train travel, this one a vintage piece about the luxury line from Sydney to Melbourne. I was 12 when it was shot.

Thank you and have a wonderful weekend, dear friend Linda!

  11. Tes citations sont toutes très belles

Bisous Linda et bon week end

  12. Thumbs up, Linda !

  13. "The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear." From my experience, this is so very true.

  14. I love turtles so much. Thanks for sharing that video, Linda:) And wishing you a fantastic weekend ahead. Happy Halloween!

  15. Once again your choice of videos and quotes were great. Have a blessed day. Madeline

  17. I got quite a laugh out of that otter!

  19. Dear Linda- what a fun post. That friend Lynn horse was so sweet. Love Lori's art. Her whimsical style is wonderful. Hope you. have.a great day! Hugs

  20. Hi Linda. I enjoyed all of these items today. Especially, the luxury train. We need those so badly (any trains, actually) in the U.S. Lots of good Salmansohn posters, too! Thanks for stopping by L & L Photography!

  21. j'aime bien "meanwhile in Canada" Linda

  22. Another funny gag from the JFL crew. I loved the otter-mistaken-for-beaver poster, too. And, oh, if I could only convince myself to eat for fuel only. But, alas! I live to eat rather that eating to live.

  23. Somehow I feel sorry for the horse....he looks sad!! However I think I need to go on the luxury train! Beautiful post Linda!

  24. Oh, you have always the best links! I really loved the video about the luxery train :)

  27. Linda, what a friendly fellow. I love horses, and I rode a wild one at my brother-in-law's ranch many years ago. But that didn't stop me from admiring these precious animals. The quieter you become, the more you are able to hear........I love that, and think it is very true.

Have a splendid weekend, and a magical Halloween.
