Thursday Shares and a New Poll!

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!
I have added a new poll, which you will find on the upper right hand column of my blog.  Thank you all so much for taking a moment to vote in my polls, I really appreciate it!  :)

The videos I have chosen for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Flight Attendant Rapping the Safety Briefing - Southwest Airlines

Healthy Grocery Shopping Tips on a Budget!

Air Canada Presents: Transforming our Dining Experience - Exploring Culinary Opportunities

Tallahassee Goat Therapist

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Give yourself time to heal from a challenge you've been dealt.  Letting go of hurt doesn't happen overnight.  It happens in slow, small steps forward. (plus a few steps backwards at times).  Be gentle and patient with yourself.

When in doubt, journal it out.

To eat is a necessity, but to eat intelligently is an art.

The best is yet to come.

Never let the things you want...make you forget the things you have.

Some days call for a little extra coffee.

Never stop doing your best just because someone doesn't give you credit.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal.  Love leaves a memory no one can steal.

If you believe it will work out, you'll see opportunities.  If you believe it won't, you will see obstacles. - Dr. Wayne Dyer

Don't let your struggle become your identity.

All animals deserve positive outcomes.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always enjoy and appreciate reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  1. Good morning, dear Linda! I am here much earlier than usual because I have a very busy day tomorrow and didn't want to miss your post. I took your poll. I was thankful for the video with smart grocery shopping tips. It never occurred to me that the supermarket places most of the healthy food choices around the perimeter of the store. Most of the things I buy are good for me but I admit that love to eat corn flakes even though I now know they are not the best breakfast choice. I just visited Tallahassee for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I wish I would have come upon the goat therapist. Goats are whimsical creatures and I can understand how beneficial they are for people who are down in the dumps.

Thank you very much, dear friend Linda!

  17. Hi Linda! The gag is a riot! And I can't imagine doing anything with goats - they are so stubborn! I think I'd like to fly Air Canada...most airlines are serving Styrofoam and calling it lunch! Love those birds! So pretty. Wishing you a wonderful day!

  22. Loved the gag. That was a hoot.

Loved the food on air Canada. That was awesome. I don't think there are any lines in the U.S. that feed people anymore. You have to buy everything and it's not worth it.

    Loved the animal therapy.

I voted in your new poll.

Have a fabulous day Linda. ☺

Really enjoyed your picks for today. The smart supermarket video was very interesting, and the first quote about healing especially strikes a chord with me at this time in my life. Took your survey, too!

  37. That sure is one way to make everyone pay attention to the safety regulations. Have you seen the New Zealand Airlines safety video? They're hilarious! This year they have one with their rugby team, last year they did one themed around Lord of the Rings. People actually ask to see them again.

  38. I could imagine my own frustration level if I'd been one of the victims of that JFL prank. The idea of therapy goats is a new one to me. Interesting video.

  39. Just for laughs - they are all polite! I'm not sure I could wait that long...I may say, Excuse me sir, can I have my phone back like now?
    Rapper flight attendant is awesome!
