Food for Thought Friday

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

All Autistic Wedding Spreads Love, Awareness and Hope

Things Dogs Teach Us

Maryline - Akkordeon Instrumental

A Hotel in the Swedish Trees

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

No amount of anxiety can change the future. No amount of regret can change the past.

I have fought battles, many of which most will never understand.  Even when my mind and body have felt weak, my soul has remained strong.  I am unstoppable.

Food is fuel, not therapy.

Be brave enough to let go of what no longer serves you...and patient enough to hold out for what you really want.

Reminder:  You're supposed to consume food - not be consumed by it.

Dear whoever is reading this:  I hope you discover lots of reasons to smile today. :)

Burn the candles.  Use the nice sheets.  Wear the fancy lingerie.  Don't save it for a special occasion. Today is special.

Eating healthy food fills your body with energy and nutrients.  Imagine your cells smiling back at you, saying, "Thank you!"

Always be thankful for everything you have.

Sometimes the greatest love is found in the simplest things.

Do one thing at a time, give it all your attention, honor it fully.

Be with someone who puts down their phone and listens to how your day went.

We have the power to speak words that can open or close hearts.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  6. Happy Friday.

I must remember that food is fuel, not therapy. Haha. I love food and sometimes can be over-eating. At my age now, I must watch what I eat.

I like the dog video, and the Sweden hotel.

  31. Linda,
The autism video was heartwarming. I really liked the quote "I have fought battles" because no one knows what each of us has gone through or endured in life. Only God knows our heart completely. The quote with the lady bug made me smile too. Lady bugs are special to me. : )

Have a peaceful weekend doing the things you love. I think I will decorate for Christmas tomorrow.

  36. That hotel reminds me of a place you could rent in Chattanooga, Tennessee a few years ago that looked like a spaceship inside and out. Here's a website on it. I think they sold it so it's no longer rentable, although I can't imagine who would live there permanently!

  38. Dearest Linda~~ My it is good to be here visiting with you once again! I have certainly missed your delightful space here.
First, let me thank you for your love and concern for me while I was away from my blog. My dear Stephanie shared with me of your kind comments asking about me, you are a gem.
It was a pleasure scrolling down and taking pleasure in some of those videos, so heart warming some of them. They had me laughing and crying as I sat alone relaxing by the fireside, pure joy!
I have missed this place and look forward to my visits once again. :-)
Thank you for your tender comment on my latest post, my heart was blessed.
Have a blessed day, sweet friend.
