If money didn't exist, would you still get up every morning and do what you do for a living?

We get by with a little kelp from our friends.  :)

Being a good person does not depend on your religion or status in life, your race or skin color, political views or culture.  It depends on how well you treat others.

The happiest people don't have the best of everything, they just make the best of everything. - Zig Ziglar

I believe success is achieved by ordinary people with extraordinary determination. - Zig Ziglar

The time has come to let go of everything you didn't do right, all the negatives things people have said, and simply focus on all you are becoming.

Mean people don't bother me.  Mean people who disguise themselves as nice people bother me a lot.

Life goes on for the living whom are awake.

All any of us can do is make the best of what we have got and live with generosity and kindness. - Helen Mirren

You will have a lot more time and energy to spend on yourself when you stop worrying and wasting time on how others need to change. - Jenni Young

Of course you feel discouraged when things don't go the way you'd hoped and planned.  That's normal. But shake it off.  You don't have to let one failure dictate the rest of your life. - Kathryn Yarborough

Don't compare yourself to anyone, compare yourself to the you of yesterday.

  2. Good morning, dear Linda!

I am spending the first minutes of my birthday here with you, dear friend. :) I enjoyed today's gag video. It was a well conceived prank forcing shoppers to move a shopping cart that was blocking the aisle and have it spill its contents. What a mess! I always wanted a dog but my mother didn't want to dirty the house and insisted we get a bird instead. I begged for a Toucan because they are so odd looking and have such beautiful feathers and bills. They were too expensive and we ended up with a parrot. I think it's a wonderful idea to have preschoolers visit residents of nursing homes. Children learn to feel comfortable around older people and respect them. Smile Farms are another great idea, giving the handicapped meaningful work and a sense of satisfaction growing things of beauty that many people want to buy.

    Thank you, dear friend Linda!

  20. " Life goes on for the living whom are awake." and I'm awake now. I woke up at 3:20 am this morning with my alarm system buzzing waking up the entire household. After turning it off, I call the number they gave me and this sweet lady informed me that the problem was because a big wind outside affected the line to the tower was off but would come on line later in the morning. BIG DEAL!!!! I AWAKE NOW. I was able to go to sleep but I needn't want to be awakening at all. Geez almighty. Has that ever have that happen to you Linda?
Well, have a great Friday my friend. See ya.
