Thursday Thrills

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are:

Justin Trudeau's New Cabinet The Most Diverse In Canadian History (you do not have to be knowledgeable in Canadian politics to appreciate this video)  I am very happy for Justin Trudeau and I wish him and the entire government the best.

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Celtic Highlands Music - Scottish Isles

House of the Week: Cave House in Arizona

Underground House (into the hill) (Traditional Swiss Instruments March)

If they breathe they live.  If they live they feel. If they feel they love.  If they love they are aware. If they are aware they have a soul. - A.D. Williams

Sometimes things don't move as quickly as we'd like...but slow progress is better than no progress.

A miserable heart means a miserable life, a cheerful heart fills the day with a song.

In life, many things don't go according to plan.  If you fall, get back up.  If you stumble, regain your balance.  Never give up!

Quick fixes don't fix anything.  If you want long-lasting change you must change your lifestyle - what you think and do on a daily basis.

Life is sweet, and bitter, beautiful and painful, and a blessing to be here.  Live to your fullest.  Don't waste time on fear and regret.  Okay?

Don't allow a love problem to become an eating problem.  Stop trying to stuff down your feelings with food.

Be patient.  Eventually you will see the beauty in your chaos, the purpose in your pain.

Don't let the darkness of your past block the light of joy in your present.  What happened is done.  Stop giving time to things that no longer exist when there is so much joy to be found in the here and now.

There are 2 types of pain in this world.  Pain that simply hurts you, and pain that inspires you to grow.

Do what you can to avoid or neutralize conversations which put people down.  Think with your heart.

Letting go of unhappy thoughts and memories is an act of self care.

Your kindness is like a ray of sunshine...shining light and warming hearts.

She was unstoppable not because she did not have failures or doubts, but because she continued on despite them.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  16. Ha, ha! It was fun to read the thoughts of the people in the gag, as they watched that big, tough-looking guy get on that pink, girly bicycle and ride away. The cave house looked interesting. I'd like to see that in person.

  18. Hello Linda,

  33. I stuck my hand in Linda's Treasure Chest of Goodies and pulled out the video on cave house in Bisbee. Wow, what a place. My father lived in Tombstone Arizona which was about ...hmmm..i think 20 miles or so from Bisbee. I've visited there often in the past. Stirred up some good memories.

Are they any blind people in the Cabinet?
I always have a soft spot for them.
For they can't see how wonderful this world really is.

  40. I've heard good things about Trudeau. I love that diversity is FINALLY making its way into leadership here, too. An African-American President, then maybe a female President. I honestly didn't think I'd see it in my lifetime, but things have really moved forward in recent years...gay marriage, marijuana legalization. Minds are really opening up here!!!

  46. Justin Trudeau is something of a rock star here in Australia. Women here love the fact that half his cabinet are women.

  47. Love the quote about a cheerful heart filling the day with a song. I also like the "Never give up" one. One of my favorite quotes is Clemenceau's "In war, as in peace, the last word goes to those who never give up."
