Sunday Tranquility

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:

A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

Rib Eye Steaks - The Pioneer Woman

How to Relieve Holiday Stress with Tom Gagliano

Homemade Stuffing Recipe - with Mixed Seeds and Sausage - Warren Nash

Homeward Bound - Simon and Garfunkel

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Life is short.  Don't waste it on stuff that sucks.

Don't worry about what people say behind your back. They are the people who are finding faults in your life instead of fixing their own.

To strengthen the muscles of your heart, the best exercise is lifting someone else's spirit whenever you can.

You have the privilege to be the light in someone else's darkness today.

Mental health:  let's talk about it.

Be a good, loving person.  People will feel who you are.  You can't fake good vibes!

Let it hurt.  Let it bleed.  Let it heal.  And let it go.

Pause.

People who are the happiest in the world are those who are doing things for others.

The time is now this very moment, time to take responsibility because you own it.  Take control of who you are, change your mindset and you can go far.  The longer you panic, worry and wonder, the bigger the fear and the blunder.  Right now you can do it, but it's up to you to set your mind to it. - Harry Bridgeman

You do matter!  Don't ever forget that!

Once we recognize what it is we are feeling, once we recognize we can feel deeply, love deeply, can feel joy, then we will demand that all parts of our lives produce that kind of joy.

Resentment hurts you, not them.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  15. Love Raphael and Buddha Doodles and the gag. But, I think that might be a dangerous gag, fooling around with women's hair is a dangerous occupation under the best of circumstances! Heh, heh.

  19. In America when tragedies happen, the politicians often mumble about mental illness but never do anything about it. I wish those in Congress would do more than talk about it.

  42. Love the cuddly kitties! The resentment quote and wasting time on stuff that sucks quote pinged me. I wanna train myself to think "This sucks, why am I doin' it?" and maybe stop doing things that are a waste of my time!

  43. Oh, those poor ladies with the odd colors in their hair. Sometimes it happens when it's no joke! The "resentment" quote is spot on.

  44. Happy new week, Linda! I was trying to focus on all your wonderful quotes, but I've been hijacked by Simon and Garfunkel. I always get lost in "Homeward Bound." Playing it over and over. Thank you! Tomorrow is the 33rd anniversary of Terry's and my first date, and he is my home! Have a lovely week, my Montreal friend!

  45. Simon and Garfunkel, we adored them in our late teen years. My friends and I sung Scarborough fair(?)...(our favorite) all the time! I love the Life is short quote. I will make a copy.
