Tuesday Choices

Hello!  A very warm welcome to you all!

I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

At the core of all anger is a need that is not being fulfilled.

There are some people who always seem angry and continuously look for conflict.  Walk away; the battle they are fighting isn't with you, it is with themselves.

Sometimes we need someone to simply be there...not to fix anything or do anything in particular, but just to let us feel we are supported and cared about.

If you really want to do something, you'll find a way; if you don't, you'll find an excuse. - Jim Rohn

Even though I have no idea what tomorrow will bring, I'm going to think positive and hope for the best.

Nothing is permanent in this world, not even your troubles. - Charlie Chaplin

Thankful...

Don't talk yourself out of your dreams because you think you're too old.  You're not!

Stay single until you meet someone who actually compliments your life in a way that makes it better. If not, it's not worth it.

Ho Ho Ho...laughter makes the soul sparkle.

That's me in a nutshell!  :)

Be thankful for friends who care about you.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always enjoy and appreciate reading your kind comments, which you are always welcome to share!

  2. "Sometimes we need someone to simply be there...not to fix anything or do anything in particular, but just to let us feel we are supported and cared about." ... Lovely saying, L ... I often have difficulty to accept help, because I always wanna be the one that is giving ... Love, cat.

  4. the first quote about the core of all anger is pretty true and profound ... i guess once we realise the root, we have to figure out a way to work past the anger ...

  5. but sometimes walking away will lead to the person stepping on our head again and again . Always is the conflict when is the right time to take a stand and when is the time to walk away

  10. Raphael did it again! Great. We have a good friend who has operated a wolf sanctuary for many years in Texas. It is so wonderful to see her walk openly among the wolves.

  12. I liked the "Meanwhile in Canada." We saw something similar on a garage one time, where someone had damaged the garage door, apparently trying to drive through it when it was closed. As someone who didn't marry until age 42, I can vouch for the wisdom of waiting. :)

  23. There are some people who always seem angry and continuously look for conflict. Walk away; the battle they are fighting isn't with you, it is with themselves. I love this one. I always say, it's not my money and it's not my circus. Says the same thing only a bit different.

Have a fabulous day Linda. ☺

  29. Linda, I enjoy coming over here and seeing all the inspirational sayings for the day. I love the one, "nothing is permanent in this world." Another that I liked is "don't talk yourself out of your dreams." The girls have so many dreams of traveling to different places around the world, and they never talk themselves out of it. :) "Laughter makes the soul sparkle".....isn't that the truth.

May the light keep shining on you in the coming year.

  34. Yes! Glasser's Choice Theory says the same thing - we're all driven by needs, and can fulfil them in different ways. So, identify the need, and you have a starting point for working through the anger.
