Google Blogger Changes

Beginning tomorrow, Monday, January 11th, Google will be making changes to Blogger in that some people who are following my blog via other methods may no longer be able to.  I don't think this will affect those who are following me via Bloglovin', Feedly or via e-mail, (however, it may), but if you are following me and you do not have a Google account, this may affect you.  If you wish to continue following my blog and being able to receive updates on my posts, please know that you can open a Google account and follow me via GFC (Google friend connect).  I am sorry about this and I am not happy about it but I have no control over these changes.
Many of you have become good friends and all of you, regardless of whether you are friends, are definitely an encouragement to me with your lovely comments, and I always look forward to reading your comments and I would not like to lose you.

Thank you so much for your patience, understanding and love and support!

  1. Google just keeps taking over everything by inches and forcing everyone to have an account.

  3. Thank you, Linda, I had no idea. Will google to learn more.
I noticed that Google Friends Connect "drops" my subscription to other blogs, again and again. No idea how that happens.

Wishing you a very good New Year,
    Merisi

I have no idea how this will effect me and who I follow and who follows me. I guess we will all find out tomorrow.

  13. Their nonsense about photo captchas in the last three months doesn't help, but at least thus far today no issues.

  21. I've heard about the change, but I'm not very sure how we are affected. I opened blog with Google account, so I guess not much on my side. I hope I can stay connected with non-Google bloggers.

Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Comment moderation is enabled. I do hope that Blogger's changes in the way of proving that you are not a robot do not deter you from commenting! Thank you so much! If you have Google+ and are only allowing Google+ users to comment on your blog, I do not have, nor do I want it. And if you use DISQUS for accepting comments on your blog I don't have that, either, nor do I want it. Thanks!
