Saturday Sunshine

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:

Mr. Bean - Judo Class

Half Zebra, Half Horse - It's a Zorse

Scandinavian Folk Dance - Fryksdahl Polska

Travel Lightly - Bernward Koch

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

I'm not bossy.  I just know what you should be doing.

Be known for your footprints, not your fingerprints.

Storms may blow but your roots will grow deeper. You might get wounded but your light will stream brighter through the broken places.  Your tiara might get a little tangled but nothing can dim your inner sparkle!

"Oh, thank goodness you're here...the tree fainted!"

Don't take anything personally.  Nothing others do is because of you.  What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dreams. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won't be the victim of needless suffering.

Go into the world and do well.  But more importantly, go into the world and do good. - Minor Myers

Don't be afraid to lose someone who is not grateful to have you.

Our power is in our ability to decide.

Hello from the otter slide.  :)

When you stop looking at what you have lost, you can better see what you have. - Karen Salmansohn

I love when someone remembers something we talked about a long time ago.

Do what you can to avoid or neutralize conversations which put people down.  Think with your heart.

Much of the pain in life comes from having a life plan that you've fallen in love with and when it doesn't work out, you become angry that you now have to pursue a new life plan.  If you want to tame your inner demons, you must not become too attached to any particular life plan, and remain open to there being an even better, happier life plan.

Don't wait for everything to be perfect before you start to enjoy your life.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

    be a highly~driven, focused, motivated,
extraordinary and inspiring leader, and yes
you may take time out to listen to my advice,
and, no, you may not do things your way".

  15. Good morning Linda. It's amazing that in Amherstburg, we haven't had any snow yet and the temperature is in the 40's. It's January 9th. It should be cold with snow. Oh well.

have a great day my friend. See ya.

  20. I really enjoyed watching the Scandinavian dance! All of my great-grandparents came to the USA from either Sweden or Norway. When I was little I was in St. Lucia pageants every Christmas. The music in the video was so upbeat and had hints of familiarity for me. Thanks for sharing it.

I especially love the last quote. So true!

  45. While I don't agree with breeding Zebras and domestic equines- the result is lovely. Here's a FB page about a Zonkey (zebra x donkey) that was rescued from a kill pen. https://www.facebook.com/Zuul-the-Kill-Pen-Zonkey-1521140381511799/?fref=ts
