Mellow Monday and About My Posts

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all!
For those of you who are long time and regular visitors to my blog, you will have noticed that I am no longer posting on a daily basis.  I will be posting a few times a week, at the beginning of the week, mid-week and weekends.  I would like to thank you all once again for your kind comments, well wishes and prayers during my long and difficult depression, which lasted well over a month.  Love and hugs to you all, and thank you so much for being here!

The videos I have selected for this post are:

Home Improvement - George Foreman on Tool Time

8 Year Old Violinist Excels Beyond Measure Despite Hand Disability

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

A friend is someone who overlooks your broken fence and admires the flowers in your garden.

Don't miss a good today by thinking about a bad yesterday.  Let it go.

Angry at someone?  Before you speak or act out, cool down your anger by making a nice cup of herbal tea. Sip slowly.  Inhale the aroma.  This simple ritual will help you regain your composure so you respond from the heart.

It is not how much we have, but how much we enjoy, that makes happiness. - Charles Spurgeon

Remember that time when you felt hopeless, got lost, and didn't know where to go?  But here you are today.  You survived.

What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  5. Indeed! Let bygones be bygones, don't look back at the bridges we're burning, nothing we can do about it anymore. Make the most of today and the days ahead.

  29. It is probably a good thing to cut back on the blogging. In my case, it often takes over my life and leaves me a bit depressed as I'm not able to do other things I like and need to do. So, I've cut way back, as you know. Other than that, I'm fine. Thanks very much for caring. And I'm glad to hear that you are feeling better. It's a long road to walk sometimes, isn't it? That Tool Time video reminded me of Tim Allen's show. I also like his new one, "Last Man Standing," although I don't care for his political views! :) Take good care of yourself - one day at a time!

I've been away for a week or so, with virtually no internet, so haven't been able to visit regularly. Loved the Tool time video today. I used to love that show, and the video took me back and made me smile. They had a great cast.

  60. You gotta post when and if it is good for you. Not for other people. Right now, you need to tend to YOU. YOU. AND YOU! Not be distracted by trying to help others because you need to focus on your healing right now.
