Mid-Week Solace

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are:

Dan's Got a Gal in Kalamazoo - The Boyer Sisters

Rescued Canada Goose with an Injured Leg

I Love Lucy - Ethel's Birthday

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

It is not only your right to be you, it is your obligation. - Eleanor Roosevelt

To all the people who are loving and kind to me, thank you for the sunshine you bring into my life. - Brigitte Nicole

Once you learn how to create your own happiness, no one can take it from you. - Robert Tew

When you let go of grudges, your hands are free to hold more blessings!

It is not enough to understand the natural world; the point is to defend and preserve it. - Edward Abbey

Crying is okay, it is just old negative energy that was stuck in you for too long and that wants to come out. Release it.  Let it go.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  12. That Boyer Sisters video was sooo funny. It looks like it was done inside a house 'cause there's a guy walking around in the background. Maybe that was planned? Lucy is always funny. She brought laughs and good times to millions of people the world over. Hope all goes well with you!

  21. My sister got me a birthday card a few years ago that talks when you open it. It is from that episode of I Love Lucy. It says, "Women don't like practical gifts like toasters. They like something that's feminine and fun. You know, a gifty gift." It was the best card to give me ever because I am a true I Love Lucy fan. I own app 9 seasons and a lot of memorabilia.
