Here's a cheap, easy way to let someone know you care:  don't look at your phone when you're with them.

Never stop believing in hope because miracles happen every day.

The past is not clinging to you;  you are clinging to the past.  Once you are not clinging, the past simply evaporates. - Osho

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always enjoy and appreciate reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  9. Good Morning, Linda--that one about not looking at your phone while being with people is a GREAT one. Nothing makes you feel like you matter less than someone yaking on their phone when you're out with them. Have a good week

I agree about the dogs and their territory.

I love old commercials. Some were pretty corny.

  24. Love all the cute kitties and other animals. Always enjoyed Victor Borge and his piano playing (he was so talented) and his jokes and innuendoes. Now I know why dogs attack mail people. That doesn't excuse them, though. A mail person must complete his or her appointed rounds! :)

  31. En un trabajo anterior al que actualmente tengo a quien miraba mal el perro era a los repartidores de bebidas, quizás por que pisábamos el césped.

  32. My dad spent the bulk of his working life up to retirement as a mailman. He had a whole lot of stories.

  33. My husband is a retired letter carrier and he was attacked my dogs many, many times. (They don't stop delivery to the neighbourhood, just the individual house.) The little dogs are more likely to attack and the owners least likely to do something because the dog is so little and looks so not vicious!

  34. The past is not clinging to you; you are clinging to the past. Once you are not clinging, the past simply evaporates. - Osho <-- Hah! That is so true, Linda. Letting go is hard to do, but it must happen before we can move forward! ^.^
