Monday's Picks

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are:

The Black Fly Song - Wade Hemsworth

Eating Breakfast with Giraffes in Africa

Luigi and Oscar - Tonkinese Cat and African Grey Parrot Sharing a Drink of Milk

Funny Laughing Mynah Bird on Johnny Carson's Tonight Show - 1976

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

We don't use our faith to get rid of problems...we use it to remain calm in the midst of the problems.

By being yourself, you put something wonderful in the world that was not there before. - Edwin Elliot

Breathe life in today...

If you want to feel rich, count all the things you have that money can't buy.

Motivation is the ON switch.  Inspiration is the IGNITE switch.  Determination is the WIN switch.

Sometimes it seems it always rains the hardest on the people who deserve the sun.

Worrying is a waste of time.  Good and bad things will happen in life.  You just have to keep living, and not stress over what you can't control.

Stop late night eating.  Not only to watch your weight, but also to reduce the risk of acid reflux, sleep apnea and even sinusitis.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

Also, I laughed at the Johnny Carson one too. That was too funny... ha ha ha! LOL

Sending smiles, love and happy thoughts your way, Jenny xxoo

  21. Happy Monday, Linda! Lots of good stuff here again...giraffes are so funny, but they can spit in your eye...we had some at the Silver Springs Park and had to be careful if they got close. Plus the stank to high heaven!

Love the parrot and kitty and J. Carson. And really loved the artists you showcased...all three of them.

Have a wonderful week ahead! And thanks so much for your lovely comments - they mean a lot to me!

  24. I like that Terry Runyon art -- especially the fish. johnny Carson was so good -- but I'm too old to stay up that late anymore, so I guess I can't say I miss him -- I wouldn't see him even if he was on!

  28. That is so immensely - and wonderfully - true regarding the importance of being one's self. I've rarely fit into most molds and even less commonly, had any desire, to. I feel that I march to the beat of my own drum and love the joy and fun that doing so brings my way each day.

Many hugs & happy last week of July wishes,
    ♥ Jessica

  31. Well that was a fun post Linda, I enjoyed it so much. How fantastic to eat breakfast, and maybe lunch 😃 with giraffes! Can so see why the photographer is drawn back there every year. The talking bird made me laugh, it's a little unnerving to hear birds speaking so clearly 😃
