Mid-Week Fulfillment
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: The Lawrence Welk Show - My Three Sons
Siamese/Ragdoll Kitten Purring
My Three Sons Phonograph
Orphaned Baby Monkey Won't Let Go of Man Who Saved Him
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. We need to see ourselves as basic miracles. - Virginia Satir
Someday we'll forget the hurt...the reason we cried...and the one who brought the pain. We will finally realize that the secret of being free is not revenge...but letting things unfold in their own ways and time. After all, what matters is not the first, but the last chapter of our lives which shows how well we run the race. So smile, laugh, forgive, believe and love over and over again.
Hello Linda, I used to dream about owning a dress like the one worn by the lady in the Lawrence Welk show. By the time I was old enough fashions had changed, and it was all sleek silhouettes, and mini skirts! The Siamese kitten and orphaned baby monkey are so sweet. Lovely choices this week, thank you.
Cara Linda, i tuoi lunghi post, mi piacciono, perché si trova di tutto! Ha me piace guardare i video che spesso fanno sorridere. Ciao e buona giornata cara amica, con un abbraccio e un sorriso:) Tomaso
The Siamese/ Ragdoll kitten video purring is precious, friend L ... is like my cat Theo ... could not live without his purring ... smiles ... Love, cat.
Hello, Linda! I remember watching the show My three Sons, it was a good show. The rescued monkey is cute. Great quotes and thanks for spreading good vibes! Happy Wednesday, have a great day!
Love these videos today! Would you believe we used to watch Lawrence Welk on occasion? It's true. Crazy, but true. And the purring kitten - sounds like a hot rod starting up. I do remember My Three Sons, also, but never much liked the show. I don't know why. And that orphaned monkey made a monkey out of a guy who said recently that non-human animals don't have feelings and don't know love. Boy, was he wrong!
Salmansohn's poster on the last chapter of our lives really resonated with me today...maybe 'cause writing that last chapter. And I loved the kitty paintings! So cute.
Hope that your week is going well. Thanks for the sunshine you brought into my life today!
Thanks for the reminder to be positive, upbeat, and a good influence in the world. I think we all need them. It's so easy to get bogged down in a moment or trial.
The video of the monkey and its carer is quite remarkable. Linda, did you know that Apes and Humans share over 99% of their genes. That means the difference between our species is less than 1% of our genes. In fact, all life on Earth shares about 50% of it's genes.
Love the first quote! Thank you so much. I think Ralph is writing today a blog, so he shall come here too. Europian Summer Greetings from me. Try to see the little every day blessings. xxx
"We repeat, what we don't repair!" How true! I love that little kitten! Her motor kept running! LOL! Thanks for such a beautiful post! Hugs and blessings!
I enjoyed each of the videos you chose, Linda, especially the purring kitty! I try to kick start every day with a smile. I hope you had a lovely day ~ sending you love and hugs!
