Mid-Week Fulfillment

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are:

The Lawrence Welk Show - My Three Sons

Siamese/Ragdoll Kitten Purring

My Three Sons Phonograph

Orphaned Baby Monkey Won't Let Go of Man Who Saved Him

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

We need to see ourselves as basic miracles. - Virginia Satir

I define depression as a comparison of your current reality to a fantasy about how you wish your life would be. - Dr. John Demartini

You can touch someone's life just by your presence.

Negative energy doesn't fit in my schedule.  I have way too many positive things to do today!

Don't judge me until you know me.  Don't underestimate me until you challenge me.  Don't talk about me until you talk to me.

A day begun well always ends well.  So kick start your day with a smile.  Have a fantastic day.

No matter how dark it might get...hope and faith will always light a way.

Being defeated is a temporary condition.  Giving up is what makes it permanent.

We repeat what we don't repair. - Christine Langley-Obaugh

It's important that you spread good vibes in real life and not just online.

Someday we'll forget the hurt...the reason we cried...and the one who brought the pain.  We will finally realize that the secret of being free is not revenge...but letting things unfold in their own ways and time.  After all, what matters is not the first, but the last chapter of our lives which shows how well we run the race.  So smile, laugh, forgive, believe and love over and over again.

Do what the best, wisest version of yourself would do.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  3. Hello Linda, I used to dream about owning a dress like the one worn by the lady in the Lawrence Welk show. By the time I was old enough fashions had changed, and it was all sleek silhouettes, and mini skirts!
The Siamese kitten and orphaned baby monkey are so sweet. Lovely choices this week, thank you.

  16. Love these videos today! Would you believe we used to watch Lawrence Welk on occasion? It's true. Crazy, but true. And the purring kitten - sounds like a hot rod starting up. I do remember My Three Sons, also, but never much liked the show. I don't know why. And that orphaned monkey made a monkey out of a guy who said recently that non-human animals don't have feelings and don't know love. Boy, was he wrong!

Salmansohn's poster on the last chapter of our lives really resonated with me today...maybe 'cause writing that last chapter. And I loved the kitty paintings! So cute.

Hope that your week is going well. Thanks for the sunshine you brought into my life today!

  31. The video of the monkey and its carer is quite remarkable. Linda, did you know that Apes and Humans share over 99% of their genes. That means the difference between our species is less than 1% of our genes. In fact, all life on Earth shares about 50% of it's genes.
