Mid-Week Lift

Hello everyone!  A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are:

This Famous Surfing Dog Rides the Wave to Helping Others

Mom Creates 'Chemo Ducks' to Help Kids Feel Safe During Treatment

Reitmans - Date Night (I have shared a few of the Reitmans TV commercials in the past, because I love the humour in them.  Reitmans is a Canadian ladies' clothing retailer).  Enjoy!  :)

Dawn of Hope - Peder B. Helland (Peder is a very talented 21 year old composer).

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo.  You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

Today I wake up with a grateful heart.  Count my blessings.  Help someone in need.  Share kindness. Let go of what I can't control.  I'm grateful.

Think about what could go right.

Let's rainbow this moment.  It's not like we have forever. - Aniekee Tochukwu Ezekiel

Beauty starts in your head, not in your mirror.

Two simple principles for a happy life:  use things, not people.  Love people, not things.

There is so much clutter in our live, so many to-do lists, so many tasks!  Try to simplify a little, unclutter inside and out.  Make space to breathe and to be with yourself with nothing to think about for a moment.

View your life with 'kindsight'.  Stop beating yourself up about things from the past.  Instead of slapping your forehead and asking, "What was I thinking?" breathe and ask the kinder question, "What was I learning?"

At your absolute best, you still won't be good enough for the wrong person.  At your worse, you'll still be worth it to the right person.

You are more than the mistakes you've made.  You are the wisdom, love, strength and compassion you've gained from all you've been through.

True story - as time passes, you'll not only be able to see a growth opportunity in whatever is stressing you out right now, you'll also be able to find a bit of humor in it all.

Stop being so tough on yourself.

Even the tiniest ray of hope is a very powerful thing.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always enjoy and appreciate reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!
