Mid-Week Beacon
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: Rescued Baby Crows Return Each Spring to Say "Hello"
These 'Resurrection Plants' Spring Back to Life in Seconds - Deep Look
Doris Day and Tony Bennett - I Left My Heart in San Francisco
Enya - Caribbean Blue - Beautiful Coral Reef
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. When you wish good for others, good things come back to you. This is the law of nature.
Hi, Linda! I hope that you enjoyed Thanksgiving! We spent a long time enjoying a beautiful fall day in Beacon Hill Park. Your videos were awesome today. The crow one was fascinating, and the Caribbean Blue one reminded me of the few times I went scuba diving in my life. I really like the HeartMath quotes! Have a happy Wednesday, my dear Montreal friend!
I love this quote - so true! "Don't point out other peoples' flaws, because you're not perfect; you have to look in the mirror before you can look out the window." Have a great Wednesday :-)
Si me gustaron los vídeos de los cuervos, el despertar de la naturaleza en primavera y el de Enya. Gran verdad en eso de que antes de criticar defectos de otras personas miremos primero los nuestros.
Linda, Love those baby crows...funny how they can imprint on people...and other animals too. Bright birds and always fun to watch. They like to roll down the grass in our front yard. Loved Doris Day when I was young...saw just about all of her movies. My favorite quote is "Overthinking will destroy your mood. Breathe and let it go! Amen!! Take Care, Big Daddy Dave
WOW, the resurrection plants are amazing. I guess I have never heard of this before. Love the crow too and who doesn't like Doris Day? LOL! Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Hard to believe that a crow remembers like that. Fascinating. Doris Day and Tony Bennett - now that's music. I think Doris Day is still alive - in her 90s; not sure, though. Once is awhile I'd play Enya in my American History classroom when the students were working on a project. Kept them calmed down. Great posters again also and Raphael's kitties warm m heart!
Hello Linda, I hope you are having a wonderful week. We are pretty much in full peak leaf change here in the foothills of the Appalachians and so beautiful. We had company this week and did lots of leaf-peeping. I bet it's pretty in your neck of the woods too.
Lovely! Thank you Linda for another amazing post. I loved watching the videos on the crows and the coral reef and how I enjoyed hearing Doris Day and Tony Bennett singing that ageless song. Wise words are always welcomed. A good reminder indeed.
My absolute favorite quote today is, "People with good intentions make promises. But people with good character keep them!" So true! Thanks for sharing good thoughts.
Thank you Linda. You found another of my favourite singers in Tony Bennett. Must admit though, I was never a fan of Doris Day, more an Elizabeth Taylor guy.
Hello Linda!:) I'm not sure what the problem is but every time I click on the videos A message says that an error occurred, and to try again later, ,...after three attempts with no luck, I'll try again tomorrow. :)
Hi! I am so sorry this happened to you. I just clicked on them and they are working fine here. Hope you will be able to see at least one of them. Thanks so much for your visits and kind comments, I really appreciate it. :)
Bonsoir Linda, J'ai été absente quelques jours pour raison familiale. je reviens te voir avec plaisir. Tout est très agréable. Je suis certaine que tu vas aimer mon dernier article car tu adores les chats. Bonne soirée

Hello again Linda!:) I'm back, couldn't stay away for long!:) This time I was able to see all the videos, and have been here quite a while now. Crows are amazing birds, and I enjoyed both videos. It's fascinating that they leave tokens of their appreciation for either the food they are given, or some kind deed received. I loved seeing the coral reef, and listening to Tony Bennett and Doris Day. I'm a great fan of both, and have several T.Bennetts CDs. I liked the quote about good intentions, and good character, it's spot on. Thank you Linda for a most enjoyable time.:)
Hi Linda, sorry it's been awhile.. I love the baby crows coming back to visit. They are such intelligent creatures! And I love Enya, listen to her music so much, I think I have almost everything she's ever done... And of course Tony Bennett and Doris Day, perfect! Have a great weekend dear Linda!

Hi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI'm trying to make it a habit now. To visit your blog more often. Love the two postcards about 'overthinking' and 'having fun. Very true.
And the song. Younger folks think there's only one famous hit about Frisco. About the "flowers in your hair." They forgot this one.
Thanks for the read and evergreen.
I love this quote - so true! "Don't point out other peoples' flaws, because you're not perfect; you have to look in the mirror before you can look out the window." Have a great Wednesday :-)
ReplyDeleteThat video of "the Freds" was so interesting, Linda. Thanks for sharing it.
ReplyDeleteI'm taking a theme of gratitude away this week. Looking through that lens really does change life, right?
ReplyDeleteThe video of the coral reef was amazing, a wonderful sight to see.
ReplyDeleteI just want to go back to bed; do you think the boss will mind if I walk out during a conference? LOL!
ReplyDeleteTony Bennett looked so young back then!
