I firmly believe that nature brings solace in all troubles. - Anne Frank

To truly ignite your passion, you have to be willing to take a risk.  Be it emotional, spiritual, mental or physical.  By opening yourself up to a new experience, you will find yourself.

Stop chasing the wrong one.  The right one won't run.

My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor and some style. - Maya Angelou

It feels so good to be in the presence of a tree or an animal, because it has no opinion about anyone, not even itself.  That space of no opinion, of love, is present in everyone.

You need to understand that life isn't what you're given, it's what you create, what you conquer and what you aim to achieve.

Listen to your heart...or it will find a million ways to remind you that something is missing.

Yes, time heals all wounds.  But if you want to speed up the healing, apply the salve of forgiveness.

Not the ones speaking the same language, but the ones sharing the same feeling understand each other. - Rumi

A soft nature of a person does not mean weakness. Remember, nothing is softer than water, but its force can break the strongest rock.

Let's let our problems unravel today...by looking at all the ways we're blessed.

Maybe he's born with it, maybe it's MEOWbelline. :)

Start where you are.  Use what you have.  Do what you can. - Arthur Ashe

Telling someone with a mental illness to snap out of it is like telling someone who is deaf to listen better.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  9. I love when the dog brings the fox a stick, so beautiful, and it just shows friendship works just as well when there are differences.
The Reitmans advert is funny and memorable, so I guess it worked. I loved the flowers and laughed at Candid Camera. Thanks for another super collection Linda.
PS I think the foot mouse is actually quite a good idea. Ir might need to be redesigned to fit the foot properly, but it would certainly free up both hands. I’m a touch typist so it would be a boon for me. :-)

  17. Beautiful sayings once again and although I tried to play the 10 flowers I could not get it to work for me :-( I see though a picture of a Flame Lily. It is my favourite flower as it was also the the national flower of Rhodesia and now Zimbabwe. Gloriosa superba is a protected plant there. Take care Diane

  18. I like the quote "You need to understand that life isn't what you're given, it's what you create, what you conquer and what you aim to achieve." This reminds me of one of my favorite quotes from Martha Washington about the greatest part of our happiness or misery depending on our dispositions, and not upon our circumstances.

  39. Some good lessons today, but I fear I need to debate the choice of the world's ten most beautiful flowers.

  40. Linda, Love the dog and the fox. That fox is so agile and quick. They really like each other! As for the flowers, its hard to beat a beautiful rose. We have roses and hydrangeas in our yard but with all of our deer we don't try to grow many flowers. I would like to see (but not smell) a corpse lily sometime. They grow to be a meter around and they can weigh up to 11 kilos! Hope that all is well... Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  50. El vídeo de zorro y el perro en un principio pensé que intentaba cazarlo. Quizás se criaron juntos por eso jugaban a perseguirse.
Los pensamientos son unas fenomenales verdades.

    Saludos.
