Remind yourself that it's okay not to be perfect.

The good life is one inspired by love and guided by knowledge. - Bertrand Russell

Don't forget to love yourself.

You deserve someone who goes out of their way to make it obvious that they want you in their life.

You came on the earth with nothing, you will leave the earth with nothing, don't sweat over stuff, keep it light!

Always be kinder than you feel.

I think I might have misunderstood when I heard it was time for super bowl sundae...yay!  (Sunday)  :)

As long as you're breathing, it's never too late to turn your life around.

Don't be afraid of change.  It's going to happen anyway.

Do more of what makes you forget to look at your phone.

Pure love is a willingness to give without a thought of receiving anything in return. - Peace Pilgrim

Let your light shine!  Every soul contributes to the luminance of the world.

To encourage is to help the heart unfold.

We spend precious hours fearing the inevitable.  It would be wise to use that time adoring our families, cherishing our friends and living our lives. - Maya Angelou

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  6. I would be rushing to join the goat yoga classes if I lived near enough. It beats doing pilates in a stuffy hall!
The good housewife (in her kitchen) made me smile. My mum would have died for a kitchen like that back in 1949. We had a sink with a cupboard under and a larder with a cold shelf. Mum didn’t get a fitted kitchen until the 1960s, and I can still remember how excited she was when it was being fitted.
Lovely choices this week Linda, thank you.

  36. Linda, Goat Yoga! That sounds like something that would be popular in California. It will never make it here in Tennessee! I like goats...to feed and pet, but I'm not working out with them. Great story from Far View Horse Rescue! My wife's from St. Louis, home of those Clydesdales and Budweiser too. She also loves horses so I'll have to make sure that she views this video! Thanks and Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  45. Gםat yoga is precisely what I need.
Not only do we come into the world with nothing, and leave the world with nothing, but we also come alone and leave alone even if by the bed there's a whole bunch of people. Sad.

  47. Hello Linda,
Thanks for the videos and all these great inspiring sayings. I don't know how you manage to find so many inspiring and amusing videos and illustrated quotes.
"Always be kinder than you feel" is an especially good one, being kind is so important.
And thanks for your great comment on my blog, it made my day. It's always nice to see you visiting, I hope you come again.
    love from Sheila

  48. Love that 1949 housewife in the kitchen. Not too many women would be comfortable with such a portrait today...well, except for Republican women! :)

Bertrand Russell has been one of my heroes for years. He was brilliant and indefatigable in his pursuit of reason and defense of the scientific method as the means for knowing the truth.

As I think I mentioned, I'm doing fine; just taking a breather. I'll be back...I have posted some photos on L & L Photography but the URL has changed to: http://www.landlfotos.weebly.com.

Best to you and thanks for caring.

  49. The horse video really choked me up. I love horses and used to keep them in my younger years. My Dad used to rescue neglected horse too and I spent so much time surrounded by these amazing animals growing up. Thank you for sharing this and these kind words. Xx

  50. Do more of what makes you forget to look at your phone.

A good reminder. Yes, well I don't want to look back one day only to realise that most of my life was spent on a phone. ^.^
