You only fail when you stop trying.

We walk through many storms in life...might as well do it in cute shoes!  :)

Did I offer peace today?  Did I bring a smile to someone's face?  Did I let go of anger and resentment?  Did I say words of healing?  Did I forgive?  Did I love?  These are the real questions.

People aren't as beautiful as they look, as they walk or as they talk.  People are as beautiful as they love, as they share and as they care.

Start living life to the fullest.  Let go of past hurts. Forgive yourself.  Forgive others.  It's time to move on and step into the greatness that awaits you!

Conserve your energy.  Stay away from negative people.  They have a problem for every solution.

You are blessed.  Life's too short to dwell on the negative, focus on the positive things that lift your spirit!

It's not the load that breaks you down, it's the way you carry it. - Lou Holtz

It's usually the hardest times, that teach us the most valuable lessons of all!

When we have the courage to let the walls down - to know and embrace ourselves, despite our human failings, we also open the door to connecting in a more caring, empathic, intimate way with the ones we love and with all living beings. - Author Unknown

Stay positive, everything will work out.  Look for the little joys in your life today.  Relax and don't worry about what the future holds.  It's going to be okay.

Today, open yourself up to new opportunities.  Be accepting and ready for all of the wonderful possibilities that are coming your way...your time to bloom is now.

Life is tough but so are you.

Today is your day...make it count.

Our time together is the greatest gift.

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always appreciate and enjoy reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  1. God bless sons like that - sadly, in this modern day and time, most are like leeches - see what they can get from you, not what they can give. I guess part of the problem lies in the upbringing.

  10. Loved the mom and son one the best. What a wonderful thing they are doing. Bless his heart.

Loved the kitty in the weather report.

Awww on the flowers. What a way to spread good cheer to others.

Have a fabulous day, Linda. Big hugs. ♥♥♥

  11. That was a nice thing for the son to do for his mom. Love is not words but deeds and he proved that. I think more weather reports need kitties! The kitties would certainly make them more interesting. I see you've got some posters by new people today - they are all excellent and you know how much I love Raphael's work! Hope that all goes well with you!

  13. Hello Linda!:) God's creatures never cease to amaze me, and I enjoyed watching the grateful shark video. The elderly couple giving flowers and bringing joy, and the mother and son video clips were both heart warming.
Thank you for sharing beautiful things of real value.:)

I'm much better from Rheumatism Linda, but taking it easy with a Baker's Cyst, which was diagnosed yesterday, but with ice packs and rest, it should improve soon. Thank you for asking!:) Have a great week!:)

  14. Linda, 75 years old and she lost her job. It's great what her son is doing for her but it's too bad that either 1) she had to work that long, or 2) that she didn't have enough interests to keep her busy if she retired. Some people do just love to work I guess but I was quite happy to retire at 67!

The shark with the hook...nice story...but I wouldn't want to try that with a tiger shark, bull shark or great white shark! This particular shark did seem very greatful.

The day old flowers is another good story. I don't think we do it locally with our Trader Joe's but I do know that there are several people or groups who distribute flowers to those who could use a little joy. They get them from weddings, funeral homes, special events, etc. Take Care, Big Daddy Dave

  15. Hi Linda! I saw that first video on Facebook and just loved it. What a dedicated and loving son to support his mom on so many lovely adventures. What wonderful memories he's accumulating!
And the meme about the time spent together being the favorite thing, that fits in here so well too. We have the choice to make such good things happen, let's all try to do that more often!
    Blessings,
    Ceil

  18. The son and his mother doing her bucket list was beautiful. The world needs more caring people like that. I also enjoyed the diver that took out the hook from the shark. Pretty scary but the shark showed his gratitude. You can never under estimate the relationship between man and other creatures.
    The quotes are very uplifting.
Thanks Linda and have a wonderful rest of the day.

  35. Such a sweet son, and I loved this video in particular. The shark story was amazing. The weatherman and the cat, really cute. One of those lovely kindnesses picking up the old flowers from TJ’s. Kindness of the older couple is really something, very touching. I enjoyed the recipe video too, and the wise words are always inspiring. Thank you my friend, for passing on the kindness :)

  37. Linda, what a fine collection of quotes today. The "stay positive" quote and picture was my favorite.....red roses, writing, and coffee, my favorite things. : ) The "day old flowers" video was so special.

Enjoy these last days of May, my friend.

  42. I am going to make that chicken recipe, Linda! I've already added a whole chicken to my grocery list. I loved the story about the son who is helping his mother live "duty free." Also the one about the couple delivering flowers. Flowers have been around only about 125 million years; but what an astonishing and beautiful change for our Earth. Their lovely colors, scents, and cool textures bring us such joy! Sending you a big hug!
