Enjoying Walks & Taking Photos...Part 2

All the photos I have been sharing are ones that I have taken since I got my camera...two years ago.  The ones I am sharing in this post were taken last year...during the Spring and Summer months.  They are all photos of Montreal and the surrounding areas.

This first photo is of a Buddhist Temple, if I am not mistaken.  I liked the structure and unique carvings, so I just snapped a shot of it.

This next photo is of a tour bus from New York.  I captured the shot at the St. Joseph's Oratory last summer.

And speaking of the St. Joseph's Oratory, I captured this next shot while about half way up the Oratory...Montreal views.

This next photo is one I took on the waterfront in the Lachine area...which is on the west island of Montreal.
The word "Fleuve" is French for "River."

Last photo for this post.  :)

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  Please feel free to click on the "comments" link at the end of my post to share your thoughts.

  4. Another interesting photographic tour! The Buddhist temple serves to remind us that Buddhism, as far as I have read, does offer some significant ideas to consider as we wend out way through life. Around here tour buses are usually filled with oldsters on their way to a casino or a concert! What is an "oratory"? Like a seminary. Whatever, it certainly is beautiful! I like the French river sign...looks like a river underneath it. And flowers like these always brighten the day. Merci!

    1. Hi Lowell,

The St. Joseph's Oratory is one I showed a photo of before. It is a Catholic cathedral situated on Montreal's Mount Royal. It is a fascinating architectural structure.
