Spring is springing up in Montreal, the snow is gradually melting, and we had two beautiful sunny days...yesterday and today! It put me in a Spring cleaning mood so I did a thorough vacuuming and big cleaning in my kitchen. I even opened the kitchen and bedroom windows a couple of inches to get some beautiful fresh air into the apartment. It felt great!
I took a nice walk today and brought my camera with me. I will share a photo from my walk today. Not sure if you can see it, and I did zoom in; perhaps if you look at a larger view you will see it when you click on it. There is a squirrel in this photo. :) I will give you a hint; it is on a lower part of the photo. I was unable to get a closer shot but I decided to keep the photo anyway because I was happy the the sky and clouds. The trees are starting to bud!
I can see him a little bit
ReplyDeletewhat a beautiful sky through the trees...I found Mr. Squirrel...he looks like he might be eating something!
ReplyDeleteSpring is my favourite season.
ReplyDeleteThat cute little one was enjoying the sky and clouds too. :)
* Thank you for your sweet words Linda (in Portuguese "linda" means "very beautiful").
Yes, exquisite sky through the bare branches, beautiful photo. Greetings.
ReplyDeleteInteresting video !
ReplyDeleteYea! I see him...in the lower right.
ReplyDeleteDans cette photo j'aime l'imbroglio des branches qui fait jouer notre regard et apporte cette belle sensation de liberté...
ReplyDeleteGros bisous à vous
I think I see the squirrel. So sweet! He's probably glad to be out and about, too!
ReplyDeleteI need to do some spring cleaning. It will feel good to get things aired and cleaned after the long winter.
thanks for sharing these videos and a glimpse of what life is like in montreal right now. i'd love to experience waking up to springtime someday. here in malaysia, it's summer all year round! which might sound nice, cos it's always sunny, but we do get jaded because it's always hot and humid (and if it's not, then there are thunderstorms which cause flash floods, heh) :D
ReplyDeleteThe trees make a nice pattern against the blue sky. Hope the weather stays nice for you.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I see the squirrel! in the branch below. Spring arrives here in Spain too, after so much rain and cold. Beautiful video clip. A kiss from Spain
ReplyDeleteOh yes, I absolutely saw the squirrel!
ReplyDeleteI also had a lot of fun watching the video "Ministry of silly walks"!!! I already knew it from the Dutch television, years and years ago. But still so very funny to look at.
Perhaps I'm going to present it to my followers too (in the future).
Thank you!
Have a very nice Eastern. We will be on the way from Sweden to Holland, 2100 km.
Bye!
Gon

ReplyDeletebeautyful song!

You sure know how to evoke feelings of nostalgia...that's a great old song and I remember it well. Your photo of the trees against the sky is one of my favorite kinds of photos and yes, I can see the squirrel scampering around up there! Happy spring!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful blue sky. For here we are with cold, some days we do not stop raining:((
ReplyDeletea kiss.

Beautiful blue skies, Linda... I know you are happy about some SPRING coming to your area... We have the first sunny day in awhile--and I am also VERY happy. Great photo... Love those blue skies.
ReplyDeleteThe Whiffenpoof Song was always a favorite of my mother.... Great memories.
