The photo I am sharing is one that I took today. This amazing house is in a gated community not far from the water, and the area is quiet and lovely. There were a couple of signs on the gate to "Beware of Guard Dog". However, I didn't see the dog around at the time I took this photo. You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.

The harp music reminds me of weddings I have been to, and the house is gorgeous. I remember one sign that said, "Forget the dog, beware of the owner!" :)
ReplyDeleteLOL Lowell, I remember seeing that sign, too! So glad you enjoyed the music and my photo.
DeleteOh that music is lovely Linda, thanks for sharing. You still have a lot of snow around I see.
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your comment, I am happy you enjoyed the music. The snow is melting, gradually. :)
DeleteIt's a huge house, probably the dog needs time to arrive at the gate! ;-)
ReplyDeleteLOL Lucia! So true!
DeleteThe peaceful music and that house just go together!! I love hearing the harp. I guess it is still cold and wintry up there. We have spring and all the allergies that go with it down here!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, so glad you enjoyed the music and photo. It is not cold right now, it is warming up, we are above 0, which is good. Yes, spring and the allergy season.
DeleteI just don't like DOGs !
ReplyDeleteDogs are O.K., I am an animal lover and understand them fairly well.
DeleteLinda, the dog will have a house with heating and air conditioning. It's cold outside and does not come out to watch the door. A hug
ReplyDeleteLinda, el perro seguramente tenga una casita con calefacción y aire acondicionado. Fuera hace frio y no sale a vigilar la puerta. Un abrazo
Very true, Miguel. :) Thanks for your comment.
Deletequite the house
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteUne belle propriété... Brrr... Il reste encore une quantité de neige chez vous !
ReplyDeleteGros bisous
Oui, mais ca fais fondre graduellement. Gros bisous!
DeleteWell, I sure don't live in a house anything like this. And I would not want to be so afraid of my house and belongings that I had to put up a big gate and announce there was a bad dog. Having so much stuff that you literally have to shut the world out is sad.
ReplyDeleteThe gate completes the look with the lions on it. As for the dog, even companies nowadays use dogs to guard things...such as the armoured trucks that go around picking up money. I think the more people have the more they want, and I find that sad.
DeleteMy dear Linda
ReplyDeleteMany thanks for your visit and so kind comment!
Thank you for the beautiful music!
This home is wonderful, like palace! :)
I wish you a Happy Easter
Many greetings
Hi Magda, thank you so much for your comment, I am so glad you enjoyed the music and my photo.
DeleteIt is a big house -- I suspect big is one of the initial requirements to build in a "gated" community.
ReplyDeleteVery true. Thank you so much for your comment.
DeleteMaybe there isn't a dog, Just the sign might be enough to keep intruders out!
ReplyDeleteI think there is a dog, because I even saw cameras at the gate, so anyone trying to "intrude" would be caught on camera.
DeleteThe picture is very good Linda! These lions are a credit to your avatar :)) Beautiful music!
ReplyDeletea kiss
Hi Laura, thanks so much for your kind comment!
DeleteWhen I see such a sign but no dog, I wonder if there really IS a dog.
ReplyDeleteLovely harp music!
LOL...true, but sometimes I wonder if they put it there as a warning; some people don't believe it, when all of a sudden they are shocked to be greeted by a growling dog. So glad you liked the music.
Deletei'm always curious, when i see a 'guard dog' sign, whether it's a fierce doberman behind the gates or a friendly golden retriever, heh :D and yeah, the music's beautiful. it's midnight now in malaysia, and i'm winding down after a long day, so this is really soothing to listen to. perfect :D
ReplyDeleteHi Sean, so true! I have seen just what you describe, too. There was a home I passed by one day and I saw the sign outside warning about a dog...when all of a sudden I saw a Golden Retriever wagging his tail. It was hilarious. So glad you enjoyed the music!
DeleteSpring music and a winter photo, Linda. Beautiful !
ReplyDeleteLie(f)s.
Thank you, Lies.
DeleteLovely! Enjoying your blog and thanks so much for visiting me, also! Have a great day. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Kerrie, thanks so much for your comment and visit.
