The photo I am sharing today is one that I took a few years ago. I was taking a nice walk in a park when I saw a heron. You can see the bird in the tall grass. They birds stand so still, like statues, so it was a pleasant surprise for me to see the bird. You just need to click on the image to see a larger view.
My ankle has healed quite nicely, and I am very grateful for this. Thank you all so much for your prayers and thoughts on my behalf, it means a lot to me. By the way, have any of you heard that Google is supposed to discontinue the blogreader? I am assuming this means the blogs we follow that show up on our dashboard. I saw on another blog that someone said that she registered with Bloglovin and had all the blogs she follows secured this way. What do you all think?

Well, that video made me smile. And it looks like there are an infinite number of variations on the theme. Not sure I would invest in such a thing but it's very interesting to watch going down the river!
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine always wanted to live on a houseboat and travel the Intercoastal Canal, but he died before he got the chance. (I don't think his wife would have let him do that anyway!) :)
The blue heron is one of my favorite birds and we are blessed with many of them in this area. It is a nice shot!
