Great music! Reminds me of my parents, too, because I imagine that they listened to music like this in the 1940s. That's cool that both of your parents played the piano!
ReplyDeleteThat was a "new" song to me. I don't recall ever hearing it before. But I liked it.
ReplyDeleteI like music from 'way back' too...
ReplyDeleteBonjour,
ReplyDeleteMerci pour cette petite vidéo...
Les photos sont woua ! Il doit être impressionnant que de se trouver face à une "chose" aussi imposante...
Belle journée à vous, gros bisous.
I was a tiny tot in the 40s but I do remember Bob Crosby. Great video.
ReplyDeleteDear Linda - love 40's music...especially those lovely old tunes that take one back to what at least seemed like a sweeter time. Great pictures...now I must go check out your link. Take care and have a great day.
ReplyDeleteInteresting...i imagine you can't go in it, or UP in it either!
ReplyDeleteI love music from the 40's - perhaps because I was born in 1948!
ReplyDeleteNice photos!
ReplyDeleteGreetings, RW & SK
the cosmodome sounds cool! we don't have anything like a space camp over here, so it's fun to read about activities available in other countries =)
ReplyDeleteThe video wouldn't play for me but I'll check it out next time.
ReplyDeleteI watched many musicals on TV growing up so the old music brings back lots of memories.
Lovely shot of the dome against that gorgeous blue sky!
It's a lovely post !!!
ReplyDeleteI enjoy
Thanks Linda ! :o)
Bye bye !!!
Rakastan kovasti musikkia varsinkin vanhoja teeoksia
ReplyDeleteTerveisiä Linda ;)
Hi Linda, as a teenager the big bands were still all the rage even though the guitar groups were making an impact. We loved them both, but could see rock n' roll winning the argument. I'm glad that the big bands never vanished however. I think they'll always be around.
ReplyDeleteThat cosmodome looks quite out-worldly, a great adventure for kids no doubt.
Indeed, it looking a great attraction.. thanks for sharing...
ReplyDeleteThey just don't make music like they used to do they??
