I guess everyone in the whole world has seen this movie, it must be the most famous ever.
ReplyDeleteLovely duck photos.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, RW & SK
One of my favourites too, in 1968 I took one of our daughters and her friends to see the movie, a birthday party outing, The first photo, that is a winner, with leafy branches and the goose with its head tucked down. Lovely, I would print and frame for sure. Greetings from Jean.
ReplyDeleteThis made strong men flee when it became the U.K. television Christmas film after years of Gone With the Wind...
ReplyDeleteI love the colours in those photographs.
The Sound of Music is nearly always shown at Christmas here. Lovely pics. I like the sky reflected in the water.
ReplyDeleteThe singers in the video are wonderful! Love the photos of the goose!
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite movies too and thank you for sharing those delightful photos.
ReplyDeleteI saw The Sound of Music as a play in 2010 and loved it :)
ReplyDeleteI remember when Maria von Trapp was invited to a White House dinner and president Reagan mistook "Edelweiß" for the Austrian national hymn. ;-)
ReplyDeleteLove your images of the serene park scenes!
I like that movie too. : ) Nice photos of the goose.
ReplyDeleteGęsi slicznie wyglądają przy wodzie w której się odbija niebieskie niebo. Pozdrawiam.

Just caught up on your recent posts Linda, lovely clips and pictures as always. Hope the winds have died down, the South of England was hit by gales too last week.
ReplyDeleteIt's so relaxing to see geese grooming their feathers by the water.
ReplyDeleteFond memories there of our visit a few years back to Stowe, Vermont and the Von Trapp chalet...:)
ReplyDeleteOne of my favorite movies as well. Thanks for sharing the clip, Linda. It's nice to see the family is still singing. I always love to see your animal photos! I look forward to them. I'm glad you survived those crazy winds!
ReplyDeleteGreetings from Finland! The sound of music is also my favourite movie. In May 2012 I visited Salzburg with my friend and made a Sound of music-tour through the places the movie was filmed. I`ve seen that movie several times and never get bored. The music is so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice November!
Oh Edelweiss is my favorite song from the movie. Of course I love all the songs and the movie. I watch it often. Did you see the high definition digital showing in the theater a few years ago? It was mesmerizing too see all the sharp colors and details. ;-)
