Super sky photos Linda.
ReplyDeleteYes I say something about that video on the news last night actually ~ very heart warming .
I hear ya on sports stuff. Couldn't care less about any of it. Until the Olympics roll around. Then I never leave the couch. Summer ones also but not so much as the winter.
ReplyDeleteLovely video, and your clouds, just like rippling water on the sand yesterday at our beach. Sports, for me, mainly a spectator, although I did enjoy tennis as a teenager, tried water skiing twice!!! both were disasters!!! And have so enjoyed the games at Sochi. Cheers, Jean.
ReplyDeleteLovely cloud shots.
ReplyDeleteI'm not really one for sports. I can sit down and watch a hockey game or baseball game, understand what's happening, and enjoy it, but I don't follow either sport zealously. Other professional sports tend to disagree with me.
I have been enjoying some of the Winter Olympic games.
bonsoir Linda, les photos du ciel sont étonnantes!
ReplyDeleteet la vidéo m'a bien plu, c'est émouvant de voir la générosité des passants.
Thank you for reading my blog, ClassABoomers.blogspot.com. Because you did, I was able to find yours. We are the same age and I, also, was never an athlete and don't care for sports as a participant but, like you, there are a few I enjoy watching. Another thing we have in common is I love the movie 'To Sir With Love.' When my daughters were tweens and early teens, I rented it in hopes they'd love it as do I—and they did. They thanked my several times for showing them that movie.
ReplyDeleteIt seems the sun is trying quite hard. Another month and it will be spring.
ReplyDeleteThe only sport I've every had even a little interest in is Major League Baseball. Never liked it until my late husband took me to a game when we were dating.
ReplyDeleteI love baseball and basketball! The STL Cardinals and the University of Illinois basketball team are my favorites.
ReplyDeleteYour sky shots are beautiful!
I think my highest bowling score (never was in a league) was 170-ish
ReplyDeleteSo you're well pleased with the Sochi Games, then...
ReplyDeleteI'm a cricket and rugby nut.....but I was never an athlete.
I never liked sports either, i guess you are not alone eh? Love those photos you have taken, have a great weekend ahead Linda :)
ReplyDelete...hello...!
ReplyDeletesuperbe ton ciel moutonneux...!
bonne journée...

Nice cloud photos! I love to watch basketball and skiing. And I'll sometimes watch football with my hubby. But I'd much rather participate than watch.
ReplyDeletewe share a couple of things in common there ... i also am not enthusiastic about sports, and i only got my first digital camera in 2009 :)
ReplyDeleteWow I would have thought that you had been taking pictures a lot longer than that! Beautiful clouds.
ReplyDeleteThe clouds are like a cotton field, beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteGreat video-we had these unusual clouds here this week, super photos. I'm enjoying the Curling in Sochi, I played during my 20's but not well.
ReplyDeletejust dropped in:) As a kid I hated sports (except of swiming) and always tried to avoid gym lessons at school:) now I am in a gym 5-6 times a week, so maybe, who knows, someday eveything may change! have a nice weekend!
ReplyDeleteue vidéo qui me plaît et de bien jolies photos..have a nice day
ReplyDeleteGreat sky photos Linda, wow, I would struggle to paint these!! For someone interested in painting they are a good example of ariel perspective. Curling has stirred up some interest here in the U.K. as our teams have done very well in the games. Keep taking the pictures, you have a good eye.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful cloud above.
ReplyDeletethe video is great !
ReplyDeleteIt was heartwarming watching the video. : )
ReplyDeleteI started taking pictures the same time that I started blogging. There are a few blogger friends who have been my inspiration.
The cloud pictures are amazing.
The video was heartwarming, and your sky photos are glorious. Such interesting clouds. I got my first digital camera in 2006, and it was love at first click. :)
ReplyDeleteOh, j'ai vu cette vidéo à la télé, il y a encore beaucoup de bon monde!!! Bisous tout doux et bonne journée!
ReplyDeleteI love the kindness of the strangers in that video. How awesome. And I am a huge sports fan myself. I'm not good at bowling though. My own 8-year-old nephew beats me :)
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! For a person who just got a camera, you sure do a great job! Those clouds look like they were painted there, in little square patches. Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteMy husband loves curling. He wants to be one of the broomers! Correct me if I'm wrong, but 222 sounds like a really high score in bowling? Nice!
Happy Friday my friend!

I am not a sports fan either but i do enjoy figure skating on occasion. I never tie of sky photos. Your camera does a much better job than mine. The video was touching,,,,nice to see goodness.
ReplyDeleteThat was a very sweet video. I was never very talented at sports. Others were better and more aggressive than me. I enjoyed being part of our high school's sports programs by being either a statistician or a time-keeper, depending on the season. As an adult, I really don't care about watching any of them - - - some of the Olympics at times but can live without them, too. However, my husband is a TV sports fanatic.
ReplyDeleteWell done to Canada for the two golds in curling Linda. I myself won an over 60's team competition four years ago. I guess you know that 99.9 % of all curling stones are from Ailsa Craig, often photographed for my blog.
