ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting y blog Linda and saying you were in Montreal My son was born there and I have very happy memories of the three years we lived there. You are just two years older than my daughter.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the little church with a bit of snow as well.
Hope you visit again.
Merci Linda pour le partage de ces jolies photos, c'est un plaisir de découvrir cette église si particulière.

Looks like a beautiful church. Falcons just fascinate me, I've only see one once and it was so awesome!
ReplyDeleteI love falcons. I find them absolutely fascinating birds. And they are highly intelligent.
ReplyDeleteI've heard of airports using birds of prey for this purpose. I enjoyed the video. And your photos of the church are lovely.
ReplyDeleteFalcons truly are remarkable birds. And the church is lovely!
ReplyDeleteLinda - what a gorgeous bird. I have never really seen one close up. You always pick the most interesting videos. Your photos of the church are wonderful too. Looks like you found some lovely blue sky for the backdrop as well. Hope your winter days are turning toward spring like they are here. Have a wonderful day.
ReplyDeletefalcons are some of the best birds

Excellent clip with some very nice jaunty music ! I'd read that falcons are used in this way - good news for safety.
ReplyDeleteNice shots of the church - top one is my favourite.
Nice shots of the church and an interesting video too. Yesterday I was in Ely where I spotted a very realistic model of a falcon which was being used to keep pigeons away from....wait for it....a church! Falcons (real ones) are also flown over the tennis courts at Wimbledon every morning to dissuade pigeons from 'blessing' Andy Murrray et al.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteVery interesting clip and I like your photos.
ReplyDeleteAs for following anonymously, that’s fine. I didn’t know that following by Google invites spam, it’s not happened to me before. But after adding myself to your list I instantly had a spam comment, so I am following you anonymously too.
Happy blogging.
Thats a good video!

Nice video and photos!!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda! With all the gray skies in my neck of the woods, all I see in your photos is the blue sky. Ahhhh. How wonderful! We have freezing rain today.
ReplyDeleteBut I do love the rock face on the church. There's just something so sturdy and beautiful about natural rock. Thank you for lovely photos today :)

I liked the stonework very much.
ReplyDeleteNice pictures! :)
ReplyDeleteIsn't that an amazing job for the Falcons, here they scare off pigeons from money making public sights in Paris. I've become fascinated with this bird ever since having one sit next to be from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to London, England with his owner of course :-) Nice photos, glad you were able to get out and about...
ReplyDeleteChurches can have some amazing architecture! I enjoyed your pictures today my friend.
ReplyDeleteI managed to get this to play eventually with our slow connection!!! That is not a falcon, I suspect it is an eagle of some kind. I used to do falconry, they are much smaller than this bird so not sure why they should call them falcons on the header! Beautiful bird none the less. Love the church. Have a good day. Diane
ReplyDeleteStill snowing in your neighborhood, Linda !?
ReplyDeleteYes, Lies...but it isn't as cold. :)
DeleteEn effet, cet église est magnifique! Bise et bonne journée toute douce!
ReplyDeletebeing a nature/birding lover, your falcon post drew me in Linda. Thanks also for visiting my birding blog
ReplyDeleteEn España hace ya muchos años que los halcones son nuestros mejores aliados en los aeropuertos, así como para controlar de forma natural las poblaciones excesivas de gaviotas y estorninos en las ciudades. Un abrazo,
ReplyDeleteLove the church photo...and falcons are so intelligent...
ReplyDeleteI have heard about that. It´s a great way to keep smaller birds away from airports. :)
ReplyDeleteI've heard of Birds of Prey being used at airports before, great idea.
