that's a very interesting clip of what los angeles was six decades ago ... time makes a real difference; things looked calmer then :)
ReplyDeleteAh.....that little three year old is precious!!! We will be seeing her in the Olympics someday.....
ReplyDeleteGosh! LA in the 50's already so advanced and developed compared to my little town today. :(
ReplyDeletegod helg Linda :-)

ReplyDeleteHello Linda! Thinking of you.
ReplyDeleteHello Linda,
ReplyDeleteIt's so funny to visit your blog. Great that first movie again.
So great to see them always. That's laughing with that death man.

That little girl skates way better than I do. I can barely stand up.

ReplyDeleteThe little Russian girl is so cute :)
ReplyDeleteBonne fin de semaine Linda et merci pour tous tes partages.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing Los Angeles in the 50's. That 3 year old skater was amazing. Enjoyed the quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteThis was just simply wonderful ~ from the outrageously funny gag, to vintage LA, to the adorable skater, the music, and the incredible quotes that all rang so true. I think I see a future Olympian skater. She has already learned to work the crowd and dust herself off when she falls. And she has tremendous focus for someone her age. Thanks, especially for sharing that! I would have shown it to my third graders to illustrate perseverance and tenacity! Have a happy day, Linda!
ReplyDeleteHope you are having a nice weekend Linda! :)
ReplyDeleteThe casket gag's brilliant!
ReplyDeleteThanks Linda!
ReplyDeleteBonjour ma belle Linda, merci pour ce beau moment douceur! Bise et bon week-end dans la joie!

ReplyDeleteHi Linda, I hope you are having a nice weekend. Dreary and raining here today in the Gaspe. A log of vehicles in the 50's in LA. I enjoyed your quotes.
ReplyDeleteI would have like to eliminate my last name in my Blog Title, but couldn't. Google would not let me. I had changed my Blog Address (tried to shorten it). I changed it back but left my Blog Title. This should work now. Thanks for your support. I need a book "Blogging for Dummies" LOL...take care
LOL Thelma! I also need such a book. :)

ReplyDeleteLinda, I love that last quote... I believe we are meant to explore this Earth and learn of all it's beauty xox
