For some reason my yesterday's post did not appear in Blogger's news feed. For those of you who love the animal videos I share please check it out here. Thank you so much. :)
I am a very punctual person. I like to be on time for meetings, work and appointments. For those of you who have been following my blog for a long time, and perhaps are wondering why I haven't been sharing my own photos, well....I lost my camera in May 2014 on the bus. I called the bus company to see if anyone had turned it in to the lost and found but nobody had, so...I cannot afford to buy another camera, so I decided to continue with my blog and share quotations and art, etc., in the form of images that I find and provide the link sources to them, which is what you have been seeing on my blog for quite a while now. Thank you for listening. :)
The videos I have chosen for this post are:
A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Creamy Broccoli Cheddar Soup Recipe
5 Famous Cats Before the Internet even Existed
Trasklat - Swedish Folk Music - Violin
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.
Good day, Linda. Thank you for sharing how you have lost your camera. Hope that one day you will be blessed with a camera. I like Sketches in Stillness...no words can ever utter what the heart is able to say.
ReplyDeleteI am on time for doctor appointments and flights! The rest of the time I tend to be late. I always think I have plenty of time and then somehow it slips away from me!
ReplyDeleteI would be lost without my camera! I have documented all four of my children's lives and have album upon album full of photos. Now I keep them online and seldom print any unless I want to frame them.
Had broccoli soup, nice...asparagus. pumpkin, mushroom...all I like but never had one like this before, with cheddar. Would love to give it a try sometime.
bisous
Untitled Document
Au carnaval...
Au carnaval de Rio.
Les musiciens jouent du banjo.
On danse la salsa et la rumba.
Le tango et le tcha,tcha,tcha.
Au carnaval de Venise.
Tout le monde se déguise.
On rencontre des princes et des marquises.
Des lionnes et des souris grises.
Au carnaval de Nice.
C'est un véritable délice :
On se lance des confettis !
Des serpentins et des grains de riz.
The cat stories are amazing! I had not heard about any of them. The Swedish Folk music is simple, yet beautiful.I wanted to see what was at the end of the long road! I am so sorry you lost your camera! That is a very bad thing for us bloggers. I hope you will somehow be able to get one.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your camera. I might have one I could send you, but it's an older model. Let me know if you're interested.
ReplyDeleteThat's very nice of you. A long time ago, a relative gave me her old one to get started with. So nice when people do that.
DeleteThis is such a kind gesture, thank you so much. I will wait for a while and see if I am able to purchase one in the future, but I truly appreciate your kindness....and thank you profusely.
DeleteOh, and by the way, I sent you an e-mail, dear friend. Thanks so much once again.
DeleteI am sorry you lost your camera and hope you will be able to get another one day. I also like to be punctual and am rarely late for any appointments or when I am meeting friends. Thank you for today's lovely post :)
ReplyDeleteNice sayings. I like to be on time too. Do hope you can eventually afford a camera.
ReplyDeletePoor Linda, maybe you should pop into their Lost & Found department directly.
ReplyDeletePerhaps, your camera is still there?
Or a camera similar to yours is waiting for a new "owner" to be claimed? :)
Who knows...
I, too, am a punctual person, even though Cubans have a reputation for being always late! :-)
ReplyDeleteGreetings from London.
Am really sorry to hear about your camera, and I hope there'll be some way you'll be able to get another camera, perhaps a more affordable used one, in the next year or so, as I know you enjoy capturing photographs. Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteCoucou et merci pour cette superbe publication chère Linda !
Passe une belle journée !
BISOUS BISOUS BISOUS ¸.•´*¨`*•✿
I'm punctual person, too! In fact, I don't like being late so much that I sometimes arrive way too early. But it's better thant being late :-) Sorry you lost your camera. I enjoy your images and videos very much, but I hope you can get camera in the future and enjoy taking photos!
ReplyDeleteDear Linda - I need some of your wonderful self-discipline. I seem to always be late and how rude is that?? That is certainly a great virtue and one that is needed for me. I always love reading about you and your videos and quotes are awesome. That soup looks like just the thing for this cold weather we are having right now. Take care and thanks for the blessing of your wonderful post today. Hugs
ReplyDeleteGreat and uplifting quotes Linda... ♡
ReplyDeleteI use Bloglovin for my list of blogs, they show up within minutes of posting... I could never go back to the other method... this works so much better for me ;-)
Enjoyed my visit here. Nice work :). ps. Sorry about your camera.
ReplyDeleteHi, dear Linda! I don't need to see any pictures of you. I clearly see the beauty that lies within. Mrs. Shady uses broccoli in many recipes and I will bring this broccoli and cheddar cheese soup to her attention. The report on famous cats throughout history was very enjoyable. I never thought of a cat living aboard a submarine or on a ship but I can understand how they control the rat population and boost morale of the sailors. The story of how the mother cat instinctively picked a corner of a cold cellar for herself and her kitten just before a bombing raid was very inspiring.
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday, dear friend Linda!
There are photo cameras affordable to give good results.
ReplyDeleteFunny gag.
greetings.
Thank you very much for the lovely comment. How many adorable quotes!
ReplyDeleteKisses

ReplyDeletenevertheless, I'm glad you continue with this beautiful blog!
Wow, I love this ... "No words can ever utter what the heart is able to say." Thanks, Linda, for sharing!
ReplyDeleteBonjour Linda,
ReplyDeleteC'est très drôle le vidéo de juste pour rire ❤(^▿^)

I think punctuality is very very important! Have a great Monday, Linda :)
ReplyDeleteSorry about your camera and glad you came up with the perfect solution. You took a lemon and made lemonade! Enjoyed my visit, have a great day!!
ReplyDeleteHi Linda, such a shame you lost your camera but the clips you share are always fun, so I’m very happy with that. I’ve been away from blogging for a while, back now and just catching up. Thanks as always for the clips, I loved the expressions on the faces of the people throwing the buckets! Barbara
ReplyDeleteThat's too bad about your camera. I wish there were more honest people in the world.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the gag, quotes and that broccoli cheddar soup recipe, I usually get that type of soup when I go out to dinner, but I've never tried making it myself. Thanks for sharing your recipe... :)
I love broccoli cheese soups, and this one sounds great. Thanks for your always lovely quotes on the blog.
ReplyDeleteAnother wonderful post. Great videos and quotes. Have a blessed day. Madeline
ReplyDeleteHappy Monday to you. I wish you a fabulous day. Keep warm.
ReplyDeleteI was going to list my favorites today but the list got too long! Thanks for the lift.
ReplyDeleteI like the quote with the elephant

ReplyDeleteHell Linda!
ReplyDeleteHope you had a lovely weekend.

ReplyDeletexoxo, Juliana | PJ’ Happies :)
Sorry about your camera my friend. Pictures of my surroundings are tantamount to my blog's existence...not sure what I'd do without my camera...turn to my smartphone I expect.
ReplyDeleteSorry about your camera. Mine fell and broke so now I rely on my phone, but the images are not as sharp as the ones I took on my camera.
ReplyDeleteThe quotes you share are worth reading, so until you get another camera (hope that will be soon), we are content to be reminded of what others said or have done.
Tantas coisas interessantes no seu blogue, gostei, beijo Linda
ReplyDeleteWe always have a choice - sometimes not in action, but certainly in how we view things.
ReplyDeleteMy mother liked making a soup very much like that broccoli soup.
ReplyDeleteI know why your blog didn't take on the blogroll- I checked the link and doublechecked it on another server. You originally posted it a week ago, and I assume put it back into drafts at the time. It is still listed as being published back there, though, in between your Sunday post at that time and your Monday post. The problem with Blogger is that if you inadvertantly click publish on a blog before you're actually good to go with it, it'll publish it at that original date. If this happens again, just post a quick update post with the link for the original post.
William, thank you so much!!! I often do posts in advance. I really appreciate your kindness and help.
Deletegreat post Linda :-)
ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful blog and I am glad to be able to drop by. I am inspired by the inspirational verses you shared here ;) thank you and hope one day you will be blessed with a new camera .
ReplyDeleteI too am a punctual person ... always have been!
ReplyDeleteI lost a camera once on a trip to Nova Scotia and told my hubby about it.
When I arrived home, he had gotten a new camera for me, I was very happy!
Happy Monday dear Linda.
I really like that last quote
xx
How sad that you lost your camera that way. The bus company should have a lost and found but it only works if honesty abounds. Perhaps your camera became a gift for someone who was in need. The Lord works in mysterious ways.
ReplyDeleteLinda, I was so sorry to hear about your lost camera, because I was wondering why you weren't posting photos of yours. I do hope one day, sooner rather than later, you'll be able to get a new one. I am so glad that you decided to keep going with your blog. You bring laughs and happiness to me every day. And to lots of other people. Even though life dropped a lemon in your lap, you took that lemon and made lemonade. Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteThe gag made me smile as usual! Sorry to hear about the lost camera.
ReplyDeleteI *love* punctual people (and am one myself). In my family the rule is to be 5 minutes early, but not 1 second late.
Sorry about losing your camera on the bus. I hope someday you will be able to replace it!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry that you lost your camera. Be assured that we would sure at least help you to get another one if we could.
ReplyDeleteI hope you will find again your camera.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love the touching stories of the cats.
Thanks for the quotes!
Have a nice day Linda:)
Hello LInda,
ReplyDeleteWhat a funny movie with the bucket....haha...!!
So great!!
Many greetings,
Marco
Hi Linda...such beautiful quotes...the "Stars" one really spoke to me - I will be in my garden star gazing tonight! *smiles*
ReplyDeleteThank you so much:)
xoxoxo
That is a real pity regarding your Camera. Great post!
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about that missing camera.
ReplyDeleteSuch a joy to watch practical joke video, so funny! Fascinating to read about 5 cats stories...Thank you for the post.
