First of all, I want to thank you all so much for your kind comments on my yesterday's post in relation to my having lost my camera. I did a thorough check on the bus company's lost and found and it seems that nobody turned in a camera at all. The way I look at it is that someone found it and perhaps needed it more than I, so I am O.K. with this. At first, of course, it bothered me about the camera but after a short time I got used to it and just found another way to do my blog. I actually love sharing the quotes and art, etc., of others that I find, so I really don't mind and and so glad that you all enjoy them as well.
Perhaps in the future I will be able to find a camera and be able to afford it, but for now it is fine and once again, I really appreciate you all so much and your kindness touches me deeply. Hugs and love to you all.
The videos I have chosen for this post are:
A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire

ReplyDeleteBeautiful post. I hope your day is as special as you are. :)
ReplyDeleteHi, dear Linda! I'd love to visit Holland someday...wooden shoe? (Sorry about that. :) I remember the first time I saw a clog dance exhibition. I was working in television and we taped a group of high schoolers performing at a regional folk festival. The glorious notes coming from the harp and that marvelous music box are very soothing and I thank you for posting those clips. I agree with the wise saying reminding us that a smile goes a long way toward making people feel comfortable around us and inspiring them to help us and give us opportunities. Passion is also attractive and I am drawn to passionate people.
ReplyDeleteThank you again, dear Linda, and have a wonderful Tuesday!
i'm glad and really inspired about your positive attitude over your camera ... i had a friend who lost his camera once, and he was upset for many days. i hope to remember your perspective about this in future if something like this happens to me. in the meantime, i love the humorous depiction of the shark with the human underwater! :)

ReplyDeleteThe burping man video made me laugh!
ReplyDeleteThe Australia pic is marvelous!
ReplyDeleteComing from a Dutch background, I've had the odd occasion to try walking in wooden shoes. It's very awkward!
My digital camera seems to be dying, so I think I'm going to have to get a new one. But I doubt I'll come up with photographs as stunning as yours. So glad you commented on my blog post about the severe cold in Virginia. But you could be even colder "up there." Wow. Such stunning photographs you've shared. They brightened my cold morning (though the sun is shining very brightly, which it hasn't done for weeks). Glad to make a new friend, Linda. I'm now a follower of you/your stunning blog. LOVE the design of it. It's truly peaceful. I know I'll enjoy stopping by. Cheers, Ann

ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
ReplyDeleteI sure hope that your camera turns up. I dropped mine at my son's wedding and really missed it. I had to go out and get another one quickly but they are quite expensive and I have learnt to put the handle around my wrist now. Thank you for visiting me! Take care, Karen
Love the good vibes from this blog.
ReplyDeleteLinda, you have a good heart and you are so gracious to the one who may have taken your camera. You will be blessed many folds.

Ha ha ha! Like the first video! The clog shoes don't look comfortable...I'm right, they all took shoes off after the dance. The music videos are both beautiful! Especially like the harp music!
ReplyDeleteI hope you get a nice camera soon.
What a beautiful dance of the Dutch.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the day's quotes.
you have a lovely attitude Linda...........
ReplyDeleteYou had me with that burping video!!! When Benjamin (my youngest) was a young teenager I gave him a birthday party at a game center. We all went out to the back of my van to have a tail gate sort of picnic. I had boxes of pizzas and a cooler of carbonated beverages! These were all teenagers so they loved it! What with all that carbonation - the kids started burping! And I starting RATING them!!!! That started a tradition that we still do today - I rate their burps! Can you guess who is the all time burping champion of my four children? Amber!!! She can burp like nobody's business!!!! Just for the record, I give the sexy burping man a 7+. He was pretty good. It's rare to hear a real 10 burp - but a few people HAVE done them before!!!
ReplyDeleteI bet a lot of women would love to have that sexy guy turn on that high wattage smile for them! Having taught many, many third grade boys though, I think his burp needs improvement! LOL! Loved the shark cage joke too! Have a good Wednesday, Linda!
ReplyDeleteThe Hungarian dance is very cheerful, and the harp music is beautiful. Thanks for always picking out such delightful selections for us, Linda! Good quote about us being tourists on this earth!
