  16. Loved the cat and turtle - they make unlikely friends, but clearly they enjoy each others company.

  17. What a great idea filling potholes with flowers. Trouble is that here in the UK it would need a whole army of people working 24/7.

  18. Hi Linda -- I could see myself getting in Jail in that first video. Love it! :-) Have a great day!

  21. Good morning, dear Linda! I never saw a tortoise charge at or run after another animal in that manner. It almost seemed like it enjoyed playing with that curious cat. Mrs. Shady makes frequent use of garlic, rosemary and other herbs and spices in her cooking and I am eager for her to prepare this chicken recipe.

Thank you very much, dear friend Linda. I'm set to travel now and will see you again tomorrow!

  24. The cat and turtle made my day. Cats are so curious and also cautious and this kitty just doesn't know what to make of the turtle. Interestingly, turtle seems to be more aggravated with the cat than anything else.

  28. Good morning, Linda.
Oh, the cat and turtle video is adorable
I once had a pet turtle ...he was grazed by a car and I took him to the vet
and she had to amputate his leg, I had him for a few months and when we moved the vet took him ... a friend of mine named him Lucky ...

The art by Raphael Vavasseur is beautiful ...

    Have a wonderful day xx

    1. Dear Linda- wonderful post. That lemon rosemary chicken sounds delicious. The quote about the bumblebee is so good.
Read your previous post about how you love to take walks. I echo that practice. Love being outdoors especially in the spring. Take care and have a great day. Hugs!

  50. Hi Linda! I'm catching your blog just before I go to bed tonight; but now I'm laughing so hard. You've got to love Canadians! That gag would never happen here in the USA! They so politely pull out that drill and go after the doorknob. That last quote about faking a smile to improve your mood is so true. Hope you don't have to resort to that tomorrow, Linda! I'm wishing you an awesome day!
