I find myself bored by video games but I do like some board games. Scrabble and Monopoly are my favourites. I am more of a one on one person than a "party animal." I am more at ease on a one to one basis than in large groups of people. I tend to be kind of shy when there are lots of people around. Thanks for listening. :)

The coffee drink looks really good. We play a lot of Scrabble. I play it with friends on Facebook. It may be my favorite board game. I also like pickup sticks!!

Good morning, dear Linda! You and I must be clones because every time you describe yourself you describe me. I avoid modern video games but always enjoyed traditional board games like Monopoly and Scrabble. I come across as gregarious but I am rather shy and prefer one on one encounters to large gatherings.
ReplyDeleteI am a longtime coffee lover and that Vietnamese coffee would hit the spot as I write to you in the pre-dawn darkness. When they popped open the can I could imagine that glorious aroma. Could you smell it, too? I often wondered if there is a specific species of animal that prefers rock 'n' roll music. :)

ReplyDeleteI am similar to you. Some people might find us introverted, but I thin that's okay. I don't like large groups as well because I like drowning myself in my thoughts. I also hate large groups because I find it too stressful. Like all of my energy has been sucked out of me. I prefer a few friends to surround me.

Thank you for another great post Linda. I always enjoy the selection of videos and wise words. I love playing scrabble and another favorite, puzzles :) I am basically an introvert and am more comfortable with a few friends. Dislike crowds and feeling like a sardine in a can :)

ReplyDeleteThe thought came zipping through several months ago that it is a wonder that casinos and/or private gaming parties have not started playing Monopoly with real money. I suppose Parker Brothers would not issue a licence for casinos to do this, but I do not recall every hearing of it being done underground (so to speak).
