Yesterday on my blog I shared about Nicholas Winton saving many hundreds of Jewish children from the Nazis in WWII. If this is accurate, he is 106 and still alive. What a remarkable man! :) Nicholas Winton
And here is a video with Nicholas Winton and some of the children he rescued! You may wish to have a Kleenex or two handy when you see this short video, it is very powerful and touching. :)
The videos I have selected for this post are:
A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Relaxation Music and Water Session (Buddha Bar)
Wildlife in 4K (Ultra HD)
Garden Frogs Eating Aphids with Slow Motion Scenes
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view.

That life quote is so powerful and the kitties are adorable. The JFL certainly gave me plenty of L's too :) Great stuff dear!
ReplyDeleteI like the teach by example poster. Thanks for stopping by my blog. - Margy

I stumbled upon the Sir Winton video a while ago, I wish someone warned me back then to get the Kleenex ready!

ReplyDelete106 years...great...
ReplyDeleteLove the animals and the golf balls!
ReplyDeleteLife is responding to us... I've seen it time and time again... it's not always easy to see that.
ReplyDeleteI think is wonderful how many people actually helped people in the holucost.. .. thank goodness for good people that stood up for others ♡ xox
Good morning, dear Linda!
ReplyDeleteThank you for saluting that remarkable man, Nicholas Winton. If he is indeed still alive then it is quite fitting because he saved the lives of so many children all those years ago. It was fun watching those golfers dodging a rainstorm of rubber balls and the frog eating aphids in the garden. It is wonderful to see wildlife in 4K Ultra HD resolution. It's a shame so many species are becoming extinct at the same time we have the technology to fully appreciate their beauty.
Happy Thursday, dear friend Linda!
Nicholas Winton deserves a very long and healthy life, what a hero!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Thursday!
Bonjour Linda,
ReplyDeleteJ'ai beaucoup aimé regarder le petit jardin d'eau ('◡')♥
Gros bisous

ReplyDeleteNicholas Winton. What a great man indeed and what a tribute they did to thank him. Awesome.
ReplyDeleteLoved the prank. That would have scared me something awful.
Oh the pond and that yard. That's most beautiful. Okay I loved the frog too.
Have a fabulous day Linda. ☺
Wow, Linda! You hit the jackpot today! That Winton video was indeed very touching. I knew there were many people who helped children escape the clutches of the Nazis but it was nice to meet him and share in the tribute to his good work.
ReplyDeleteAnd the golf ball thing was just too funny. I've often heard "Fore!" and covered my head but to have all those balls rain down would be unnerving. I laughed out loud!
Thank you for your kind comment about my new book!
Isn't amazing to see that one man can create love & life for so many people. Tremendous. I loved today's laugh because I'm a golfer and I've been on the course when someone yells FORE and see how they react. It's so funny.
ReplyDelete" Respect is earned. Honesty is appreciated. Trust is gained. Loyalty is returned. " totally correct. The " Meanwhile in Canada picture is funny but i've never tried it. ( yet )
Have a wonderful Thursday Linda. See ya.

ReplyDeleteall that water would be nice on a day like today
ReplyDeleteNice gag, Linda !
ReplyDeleteBeautiful quotes !
Fantastic post, dear Linda. I often feel that many of the quotes/words of wisdom you share with us here would be ideal as prints on a children's bedroom wall or in a classroom and that one above regarding respect, honesty, trust and loyalty really stands out for me that regards. What a better and more peaceful place the world would be if could instill that in all kids at an early age.
ReplyDeleteBig hugs & happy Thursday wishes,
♥ Jessica
I like the frog and the lovely pond.

Hope you're having a good weekend. Although, first I wrote goo weekend and had to fix it. I don't know what a goo weekend would be like. Unless it was melted chocolate goo, that might work.
