Sunday Solace
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! Thank you all so much for your kind responses to my yesterday's post, and in reference to my sleep....or lack of it. I love to take long walks, and when it is too hot and humid to do so outside, I do it indoors (such as at home when I do my housework and organizing or in a mall). I appreciate all your responses, I think that perhaps I may be worrying to much about it, and so I will just not focus on it. I will get up and read or do something else I enjoy and when I am tired enough I will just go back to bed. Thanks again, dear friends, I appreciate you all very much! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Bird Whisperer: Exotic Bird Trainer

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Make the time to enjoy the simple things in life.
Help me always to speak the truth quietly, to listen with an open mind when others speak, and to remember the peace that may be found in silence. - Native American
Rescue animals aren't broken. They've simply experienced more life than other animals. If they were human, we would call them wise. They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write; the ones dealt a bad hand who responded with courage. Don't pity them. Do something. Help to rescue. Donate. Volunteer. Foster. Adopt. And be proud to have their greatness by your side.
i had a good night's sleep today, and so i wish you very much the same. maybe it's partly the heat and humidity as you say - i too have found it much easier to fall asleep when the temperature is cool.
We need a bird whisperer here! We have a barn owl that has decided that the space under our roof by the bedroom is an ideal spot. Wonderful, and I love to see it, but how do I tell it to keep quiet at night when we are trying to sleep :-) Have a good day Diane
Another lovely post Linda. Good advice on the sleep. I have bouts of insomnia. When I can't sleep I always try to I imagine myself on a beach, lying on the sand with the surf tickling my toes. Sometimes that worked, other times not. Happy Sunday to you :)
Hi, Linda. I just remembered how one night I got up in the middle of the night and I couldn't go back I sleep, I spend the time tidying up all my drawers! Something which I have kept putting off. I enjoyed the parrot whisperer video, parrots always fascinate me. And the flowers pictures are beautiful. Have a lovely Sunday!
You are right to not lose sleep over your insomnia. Eventually you will work it out, or learn to nap. You have some wonderful quotes. Especially like the Native American one and the one about rescue animals.
Not being able to sleep is a terrible thing. Our bodies definitely need that time to rest and restore. I find it harder to sleep well in the summer b/c of the heat. Maybe you experience something similar? Hope all is well! Thanks for the inspirational quotes. I have a feeling something good is coming this week. <3
coucou je passe rapidement car même si c'est dimanche je bosse , ici avec un ciel gris et un vent froid , ça ne ressemble a pas juillet! bisous et a demain fini les articles sur le jardin botanique de Meise je vais vous montrez autre chose
Oh such a privilege to be back here, my dear friend...it seems so long. Preparations for my husband's life-saving (hopefully) operation have begun now, so I am going to be tied up for some time to come. However, I will visit as often as I can.
As always, coming here has cheered me up so much...and I thank you from the bottom of my heart...:)
Hopefully you're not napping right now during the day. Not that naps are bad, but some who cannot sleep at night, are because they nap too much during the day.
I'm so sorry that wasn't able to get to your blog. I read it first today and the insomnia difficulty is a problem. Yes, there a times that I would wake up late at night and go to the washroom and not be able to go back to sleep. It is tough some time. I hope you can succeed with the problem. For today, " I wish you many days where you fall in love with being alive." is the one that I enjoyed the most. Linda, have a beautiful, and thoughtful Sunday. See ya.
Hi Linda, I have fun movies and your beautiful trekstspreuken really missed. I just at least a lot of fun videos viewed and finally equally delightful laugh :-)
Lovely post, thanks for sharing the links. I know how it is with not being able to sleep, I try to read or do some crafting to fill the time. Hugs, Valerie
Thank you Linda for your sweet visit. Yes, we love our fur babies. they are very precious to us. I have been having problems sleeping every other night. Reading does help. Great videos and also fun facts. Happy Sunday
Sometimes patience wins both the situation AND the person. The bird video was itneresting. Most people would be afraid their bird would fly and never return. That man has a gift.
