Monday, Monday
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
For those of you who have been watching the Just for Laughs Gags I post, you are aware that these are, for the most part, done right here in Montreal, Quebec, Canada! This special video is not actually a gag, but is done by the Just for Laughs Gags Denis Levasseur!
It shows how some of our tourists here from different parts of the world recognize Denis, as the Just for Laughs Gags air in many parts of the world due to the fact that there is no talking that we can hear, so people who speak any language from anywhere can understand and enjoy them. I hope you enjoy this video! I really did! :) This video was done in our Montreal's Old Port!

For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. We find our greatest strength by lifting others.
We do not meditate in order to feel good. The purpose of meditation is not to feel bad either, but really to have an open compassionate attentiveness to whatever is going on. (inside and out of ourselves)
I'm still determined to be happy, regardless of what life throws at me. I have learned through experience that my happiness will depend on my attitude and mind set, not my circumstances. I choose to be happy!
Thank you for these Linda. Recipe for red beet smoothie sounds interesting. It is raining here in Finland, looking forward to sunny weather. Have a good week!
Once more, a nice gag, Linda ! Denis as Superstar ! Nice ! And squirrels -> so beautiful ! It's not because you're homeless, you cannot be an artist..., he leaves foodprints...
The homeless man was like "WOOOOW"! I would pay him immediately - so beautiful! That squirrel was cute with hats :DD Thanks a lot, again! Happy Monday! :)
Oh Denis is so funny. :) Is that accent typical among French-speaking Canadians? Interesting cos it sounds totally different to French-speaking French (what?!)! Ha.
So glad you enjoyed this video, thanks for watching it! This accent is not typical among French speaking Canadians...however, it IS typical of French speaking Quebecers, and Denis Levasseur is from here, Montreal, Quebec. :)
I especially like your inspiration quotes and accompanying art. A great collection of fascinating pieces today. Thanks very much for leaving such nice comments on my blog, and glad you enjoy visiting. Have a great week.
Lots of fun things on this post, Linda. It was fun to see the different reactions to the JFL guy. The homeless man playing the piano made me sad and joyful all at the same time. Interesting about the squirrel whisperer. And I love the zebra painting.
WOW! So much good stuff today for me. LOVE the squirrel whisperer. That is so cool! And my heart melted with the beautiful piano music. Thanks for taking the time to share. Hugs and blessings, Cindy
Hi Linda, another lovely selection. Thank you so much for sharing them. I enjoyed seeing all the tourists with Denis, amazing how many people recognise him.
I love the Laugh Gags. I watch them on Channel 9 CBC. Also like the comedians that are on TV from Montreal. The Homeless Man Plays Piano Beautifully is no longer. He was taken to a hair salon and cleaned up and a man who owned a bar had the guy play the piano in his place. What a happy ending. He's also going to meet his son who he hasn't for many years. What a beautiful ending. Try to have a cool day. I'm hot at the moment. have to get back into my AC. See ya Linda.
Thank you Linda for showing us these things, many of which demonstrate the beauty and magic that is very much alive in this world of ours. And thanks to for the kind comment on my own blog, which means a god deal to me, the well- wishing of others, even those whom we have never met. I too am a Highly Sensitive Person. -from the Raven's den to the Wren's, -Reifyn
Linda, I read one time that grateful people are the happiest people. You sound like such a grateful person, and I thank you for the smiles you always bring.
Dearest Linda, I LOVED the sqirrels! And the homless man (!) - is it a video from Santa Barbara, USA? I'm quite excited :o)) , because we have been there in 2012, and there was the action "Pianos on State" with 10 brightly painted pianos standing along State Street. I posted the image of an old woman that played wonderful Mozart - you can see it in this post: http://rostrose.blogspot.co.at/2013/03/usa-16-tag-santa-barbara.html and I think that was the same road ... and just another piano... (?) Lots of hugs from Austria, Traude
Hi, dear Linda! I didn't forget you, my cherished friend. I read the wonderful comment you left for guest host Janie on SDMM this week and thank you very much for continuing to support my blog while I took a break to entertain visiting in-laws. They extended their stay with us and just left this morning. I came over to see the special video segments you told me about. It's amazing how people from all over the globe recognize prankster Denis on the street and remind him of some of his mischievous gags.
Thank you again, dear Linda, for your continued friendship and support!

Gee!!! That homeless man is super talented! Surely he can get a job in some posh hotel, playing in the lobby or piano bar?
ReplyDeleteI think I saw a video update on the homeless piano player. He cleaned up and got a haircut, reconnected with his son, and entered rehab.
