Friday Fulfillment
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Vintage 1953 Campbell's Soup Commercial - Mother Knows Best
Sleepy Lambs Doze Off
The Treasure - Bernward Koch
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. You are more than the mistakes you've made. You are the wisdom, love, strength and compassion you've gained from all you've been through.
At the end of the day, tell yourself gently: "I love you, you did the best you could today, and even if you didn't accomplish all you had planned, I love you anyway."
Good morning, dear Linda! That 1953 soup commercial would not go over well with modern feminists. It depicted a world in which a woman's place was in the home. To attract and keep a husband, she needed to be a good cook or at least smart enough to open a can of Campbell's soup. Seems to me the guy was perfectly capable of making his own soup. :) There are few sights more touching and inspiring than a young animal feeling safe enough to fall asleep. I will long remember that dozing lamb. Bless its heart!
I enjoyed the campbell soup advertisement video. Missed the advertisement of those days. We all bloom at our own pace and time when we are ready to bloom!
Good morning Linda. Sorry for not checking in on your blog this week due to having so much fun with my grandkids and today will be the end of the week and now they go back to there parents. Ha,ha,ha. Have a wonderful Friday my friend. See ya.
I love "It is not happiness that makes us grateful, it's gratefulness that makes us happy." - have you read "The Happiness Project" by Gretchen Rubin? I loves it and try to life it :-)
Everything's so very beautiful and joyous here, I love your blog Linda, but I'm honest, what I do love most today is the video 'Vintage 1953 Campbell's Soup Commercial - Mother Knows Best', I feel I belong to ancient times !
I'm going and watch it again :)
Thank you for sharing it all, have a lovely end of the week, with gratitude,
The JFL gag was a good one, although it would have been a bit horrifying to the "victims" until they found out what was going on. I liked the quote about gratefulness being the key to happiness.
