Thursday's Post
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Green Acres Theme Song in French
Farewell to Carlingford - A La Carte
Vintage 1959 Puss 'n Boots Commercial - Character Actor Mrs. Drysdale's Father - Beverly Hillbillies
Underwater Fluorescence Disco - Oceans - BBC
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Life is really very simple. What we give out, we get back. Every thought we think is creating our future.
You're strong. You survived living through the main pain of it all. You will survive the healing time. Things will get better. Even better than better.
When faced with senseless drama, spiteful criticisms and misguided opinions, walking away is the best way to stand up for yourself. To respond with anger is an endorsement of their attitude. - Dodinsky
It's always nice to be reminded of thinking positive daily. Here we have a malay proverb that says "sikit-sikit, lama-lama jadi bukit" which translated to "bit by bit, soon will be a hill". Meaning that if we take in things bit by bit, soon it will be a big sum. Same goes for the positive vibes., Everyday read a bit of the good advice then it would accumulate and brightens our life. Thank you for all your good work, Linda
Funny gag, but I feel sorry for the people. THe look of terror on their face when the girl is about to fall in the hole is sometimes hard to watch. ;-)
Funny the theme with National Geographic. I don't usually eat fast food. Maybe souvlaki sometimes, once per month or less. I love vegetables, but i eat meat too!
Vos gags et vos multiples petits billets me manquaient énormément...
I like the lively song "Farewell to Carlingford" and the beautiful scenery in the video. Something to ponder - when something bad happens, do we allow it to define, destroy or to straighten us.
Good morning, dear Linda! The people fooled by the fake blind woman looked absolutely panic stricken when she fell in the hole! I had forgotten all about those Puss 'n Boots cat food commercials. Actually, I thought that one was very well done. The announcer used a chart and gave important nutritional info and a popular celebrity offered a testimonial. Most of today's commercials annoy or offend me. I would love to see a return to this simple, straightforward method. You have a great memory to recall that character actor Charlie Ruggles played Lowell Redlings Farquhar, father-in-law of Milburn Drysdale, on The Beverly Hillbillies. I was astonished to see that underwater fluorescent disco. How beautiful!
That coral video was fascinating, Linda! Lots of good things to think about here and a funny Gag to laugh over. I hope that you are having a happy day! Hugs!
Your quotes always lift my spirit, Linda. I wish I could see the underwater fluorescence myself. And there is something very weird about the Green Acres song that is sung in French haha.
i've never heard the green acres song in french before ... french is such a lovely language, and even though i don't speak it, i love how it sounds in music :)
My fav really is: " Some talk to you in their free time and some free their time to talk to you." - so true! I consider myself very lucky and happy I got both. I am thankful. Just in case you care: I have a tiny diary were I keep positive moments, handwritten. I helps me lots.
Please do not be shy! I appreciate your kind comments, they are sweet treasures and really make my day! Spammers, do not waste your time, I delete your comments and they do not even show on my blog. Thanks for the lovely qoutes today, Linda.

Great quote in Eat Yourself Well. Before I met husband, I used to eat fast food all the time. Now I eat slow food as he likes to cook :-)
