Soothing Sunday
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
How to Cuddle with a Camel
Baby Pigeons Rescued from Sure Death
Meatballs & Co., Italian Restaurant with a Beautiful Love Story
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. Without the rain...there would never be rainbows.
If they miss you, they'll call you. If they want you, they'll say it. And if they care, they'll show it. If not, they can't be worth your time because you're obviously not worth theirs.
Hi Linda, I wonder what is feels like to cuddle the camel. Is the hair rough and prickly? Lol...the camel is really enjoying being brushed and scrubbed and it really feel loved.
We do enjoy Italian cuisine. We have one very good place here, not to crazy about the other one...and not into all the so-called fusion places. Don't think I saw meatballs on their menu though - gotta look out for them next time.
I usually take weekends off but since I published a new post of my own this morning I thought I'd swing over to see you. Those outrageous gags never cease to amaze me and today's aborted fire rescue was one of the funniest. I became teary eyed watching the girl cuddling the camel. Nearly every animal enjoys being groomed and scratched, and that docile beast was loving every second of it. When it feels so good to achieve a bond with animals, give them love and care and feel their gratitude, why would anyone prefer to kill and main them? Same is true for caring enough to rescue an animal in peril or distress, even a lowly pigeon. Every animal has beauty and dignity if we open our eyes and look.
Thank you, dear Linda, and have a wonderful week ahead!
Coucou Linda, Tout est beau et c'est un plaisir que de venir te visiter. Tes petites affiches avec les citations sont supers (dommage qu'elles ne soient pas en français) Bon dimanche avec un gros bisou de Haute Provence
Hi Linda, In every one of your posts I find something something special. In today's it is, "Be selective with your battles. Sometimes peace is better than being right." If there was ever a word from the wise, that is it. Excellent! Thanks for sharing!
