Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Driver Rescues Skunk with Head Caught in Plastic Cup
Andy Griffith - Darlings - There is a Time
Jellyfish DVD: Relaxing Sea Jelly Aquariums with Sea Sounds
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. It doesn't really matter who you used to be. What matters the most is who you choose to become.
Love is not automatic. It takes conscious practice and awareness, just like playing the piano. However, you have ample opportunities to practice. Everyone you meet can be your practice session.
If someone has hurt you, take some time to try to understand them - their childhood, their traumas, their mood, etc....don't do this to simply find excuses for them. Do it to help you to heal - to de-personalize the pain. When you seek compassion for them, you wind up having more compassion for yourself, too.
Love the skunk rescue! And I also like the make the days count message. I am trying to live that way. PS: I have a job interview tomorrow. Send good thoughts. :)
Those Quebec pranksters are at it again, discontinuing a fire rescue when their pizza arrives. That was hilarious! I was very touched to see that motorist stop and help the skunk with its head stuck in cups. He ran the risk of being sprayed but he persisted and got the job done. The world needs more people like him. I remember the bluegrass group The Dillards who appeared as The Darlings on The Andy Griffith Show. Jellyfish are beautiful, graceful creatures. When I was a boy I was once stung by a jellyfish whilst body surfing in the Atlantic Ocean.
Poor skunk, and a thanks to the man who rescued it. We cut all our yogurt containers open before we throw them away--just in case they don't go to the recycle.
"If someone has hurt you" and "There's no need to judge others" both really stood out for me today, Linda. There are so many lessons I've learned in your pages...I never cease to be amazed by the depth of wisdom I find here. Thank you so much...:)
That is one of the funniest 'gags' I've seen. I laughed out loud! But I'm not sure I'd mess with that skunk. Have you ever tried to get skunk stink out of your clothes. Whew!
Such wonderful videos and images. Here is the place I always feel encouraged and inspired. Thank you for your sympathy at our Kit's passing. Your kind words mean a world to me xoxo

Meteor shower!! Love it :) The JFL fireman bit was so classic. Surprised no one called the police. Enjoyed skunk rescue and always love anything Andy Griffith show related. Those are shows that still hold up today. Great stuff :)
I don;t know I could help the skunk if I was there...my husband was sprayed by skunk when he was a lad and told me the incident...it was not pretty. Jelly fish video was very soothing!
