Become a priority in your life.

We are not given a good life or a bad life, we are given life.  And it's up to you to make it good or bad.

Wait a second...this isn't my roof.

Time in nature is not leisure time;  it's an essential investment in our children's health (and also, by the way, in our own).

Don't lose hope...never underestimate what can sprout from small beginnings.

You don't primarily need someone to complete you, you primarily need to accept yourself completely.

Worrying is a form of betting against yourself.

Despite how open, peaceful and loving you might be...people can only meet you as deeply as they've met themselves.  This is the heart of clarity.

If you think adventure is dangerous, try routine.  It is lethal. - Paulo Coelho

Arrogance is the camouflage of insecurity.

Anyone who stops learning is old, whether at twenty or eighty.  Anyone who keeps learning stays young. The greatest thing in life is to keep your mind young. - Henry Ford

Kindness...more than cleverness, we need kindness and gentleness. - Charlie Chaplin

Question:  A popular coffee drink, sometimes described as "fall in a cup."
Answer: What is a pumpkin mice latte?  "Correct!" :)

Thank you all so much for visiting me here!  I always enjoy and appreciate reading your kind thoughts, which you are always welcome to share!

  19. Good morning, dear Linda! I enjoyed the speaker demonstrating stress management techniques. In my motivational seminars we practiced that smiling technique along with making funny faces and doing silly dances, all of which enable us to lighten up, relax and reduce our stress. I was very happy to see the hungry badger respond to nourishment. I wish more people realized that it feels much better to love and help an animal than it does to blast it to bits with a gun. Mrs. Shady and I are quite fond of British sitcoms and Mr. Bean is one of our favorites.

Thank you, dear Linda! P.S. - Please understand that I will be tied up with visiting family starting tomorrow and continuing through the week and weekend. I will get over here to visit you as much as possible although it might be at odd hours of the day and night. Take care, dear friend!
