Tuesday Cheer and a New Poll!
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! I have added a new poll which you will find on the upper right hand column of my blog. I just want to know if you get the flu vaccine...yes or no. Thank you all so much for your participation in my polls! :) The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Commercial Diver and a Turtle
The Humor Potential - Loretta Laroche
10 Animals that Saved Lives
Mr. Bean at the Disco
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. No matter what's happening...take time each day to remember all that's good in your life.
Don't limit yourself. Many people limit themselves to what they think they can do. You can go as far as your mind lets you. What you believe, remember, you can achieve.
Nothing can hurt you more than your unobserved thoughts. The moment you become aware of an abusive thought, you are free from it, you become the light that is aware of the thought, you are no longer one with it.
In my mind, there's nothing our generation should be more ashamed of than people with severe mental illness being punished for a disease they can't do anything about. - Fran Quigley
Great! And I was very interested in your poll. I don't usually get the flu shot but can't help wondering if I should. I was very surprise to see how not getting the shot was as high as it was. I felt for sure I would be in the minority.
Good morning, dear Linda! It was touching to watch the giant turtle giving and getting affection from the commercial diver. Man should never miss an opportunity to make a new animal friend. I also enjoyed the report on various types of animals that have saved people's lives. Amazing! Poor Mr. Bean at the disco. The scene was a sad reminder of how many lonely people there are in the world desperate to make some kind of connection.
Thank you, dear Linda. Today begins my 6-day busy period with family, but you are important to me and therefore I made time to see you before things get too hectic. Take care!
I replied no for the flu vaccine. Thought I'd be in the minority too...but it appears not! As an asthma sufferer I probably should have it, but am reluctant to risk the possible side effects.:/
A truly astounding collection again today, Linda...I especially liked the "Calming Your Inner Storm" quote...and of course, Mr. Bean at the disco. Really made me laugh out loud!!! Thank you so much.:) xoxoxo
Good morning Linda. I really enjoyed the Mr. Bean sections. Laughter is how to make a person enjoy life when they have problems. As far as the flu shot, I get the shot each year. When I was a teacher I always had one and I still have one. I really haven't had a real bad problem since I had the flu shot and I will continue to have one especially as I continue to get older. Have a great day my friend. See ya.
I like the quote - the first to apologize is the bravest, the first to forgive is the strongest and the first to move forward is the happiest. I find this to be so true.
Dear Linda - loved seeing the turtle with the diver...what an amazing video. Enjoyed hearing about the animals that saved lives too. Wonderful quotes and as always I so enjoyed my visit. Voted too on the flu shot. Have a wonderful day.
