Saturday Soul Shine
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have chosen for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Malaysian Tortoise
Chicken Schnitzels
Buses of Montreal
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. I have this problem: I isolate myself, then become upset because I'm lonely.
It feels so good to be in the presence of a tree or an animal, because it has no opinion about anyone, not even itself. That space of no opinion, of love, is present in everyone.
Thank you for your weekend words of wisdom Linda. I enjoy your autumn leaves - wonderful. The results of your 'eating' poll are quite surprising but also comforting. Restaurants are so often disappointing.
that video of the malaysian tortoise is adorable - it reminds me of a small tortoise i used to have when i was a kid, and how it loved to munch of crunchy raw vegetables too :)
I can relate to the one about isolating myself, then getting upset because I'm lonely! Not so much now that I'm married...but that was my problem when I was single.
Happy Saturday, Linda. Note to self: If ever in Montreal avoid all policemen and honeypots! LOL Having taken some courses in theatre, I got a kick out of the "Meanwhile in Canada" poster. "Be good to you." Such important words! I have to remind myself daily to be good, kind, gentle with myself, because I can be my own worse critic. I hope you are having a wonderful day, Linda! Thanks for brightening up mine!
Absolutely lovely roundup for this weekend, dear Linda. The smiling maple leaves made me bust out an ear-to-ear grin, too, and I especially enjoyed the important (and far too often overlooked) reminder that the most important relationship we can cultivate is with ourselves.
Big hugs & joyful Halloween week wishes! ♥ Jessica
Linda, the tortoise video caught my eye because turtles have always fascinated me. I really liked the "tree" quote, and I think it's so true. I love nature so much; it never judges. Also, I knew this about hugging. Lots of hugs in this house. : )
Gosh! That "isolation" quote really spoke to me...I do that all the time!:/ Wow...those chicken schnitzels look absolutely scrumptious...I must try them for myself. And "Meanwhile in Canada" really made me laugh...hahaha :D

Dear Linda - those chicken schnitzels look fabulous. Something delicious for a cold fall day. So enjoyed my visit. Hope you have a great evening.
ReplyDeleteAwesome quotes....some of them are SO true!
ReplyDeleteThere's a TedTalk on hugs - they propose so many seconds too to get the full benefit. Apparently human touch is one of our basic needs.
