Sunday Solace
Hello everyone! A very warm welcome to you all! The videos I have selected for this post are: A Just for Laughs Gag/Juste pour Rire
Lounge Cats on the Catio - End of Summer
Dream Jump - Dubai, 4K
5 Children Raised by Animals
How to Deliver the Newspaper in Nagasaki, Japan 4K (Ultra HD) - I found this to be quite a fascinating video!
For the following, I am providing the link sources beneath each photo. You just need to click on the images to see a larger view. If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door. - Milton Berle
Emotional eating doesn't heal emotional issues. When you overeat it's because you're avoiding a needed conversation with yourself. Swap pigging out for listening up.
Your life is a reflections of the choices you make. Even events you don't control reflect your choice in how you respond. If you want to improve your life, improve how you make choices. Try to mindfully make decisions which are inspired by open-mindedness, high integrity and long-term thinking.
Old, peeling and crusty paint has to be scraped away to make way for a fresh coat. Letting go of the old in life can sometimes feel like you're being scraped and sanded, but it's just prep work for beautiful new hues!
Saying someone can't be sad because someone else may have it worse, is just like saying someone can't be happy because someone else might have it better.
LOL, Linda! The krazy glue gag reminded me of when I was volunteering in the fossil lab and managed to superglue both hands to a fossil rib ~ can't remember which dinosaur it was now! Guaranteed I will not be skydiving Dubai! Healthy Place was a great reminder. Happy Sunday!
Enjoyed all the videos. Wouldn't it be nice if humans could learn to chill the way the cats do? Nagasaki, Japan (and the area) is very beautiful isn't it? The footage of people jumping out of high towers in Dubai brought to mind the movie "Ghost Protocol" with Tom Cruise. I for one would never be caught jumping voluntarily out of a tall building, yikes!
Eat crappy, feel crappy. Eat healthy, feel healthy. Enough said. Totally correct I was shocked by the video about " Kids who live with animals " That really bothered me. Wow! All I can say is, Have a fantastic Sunday Linda. See ya.
I really enjoyed these various videos and pictures you provided this morning. The gag was one of the better ones, and I enjoyed the children raised by animals and the newspaper delivery in Nagasaki. In my early teens I delivered the Los Angeles Times and that meant getting up early in the morning seven days a week!
Bonjour Linda, c'est terrible ces enfants élevés par les animaux, presque incroyable et pourtant réel... De superbes pensées comme toujours! Bise et bonne soirée tout en douceur!
"What a country chooses to save is what a country chooses to say about itself." Wow! What does that say about a country that aborts a million and a half babies a year? Sadly, it's my own country...the USA.
Hi Linda, so many great movies have again placed and that is really laughing. The other films are great to see and bluisteren. I really clever of you to always know where to find so many different movies :-) Really super nice!
"If opportunity doesn't knock, build a door"...I really love that. It is simple...yet so powerful! A fabulous collection, Linda. Thank you so much for bringing a ray of sunshine into my grey and rainy day!:)) xoxoxo
Very nice post! I'm from Nagasaki and I recognized many places in the video...our family subscribed West Japan Newspaper instead of Nagasaki Newspaper though. The dream Jump people are crazy!...so scary!

ReplyDeleteHappy Sunday, Linda. Hope you're warm and safe. No heat for us today, but yesterday, for sure.
ReplyDeleteI think I'm guilty of emotional eating. I eat because I'm bored and...well...because I like food!
ReplyDeleteIt is what it is but you have the power to turn it into an isn't so bad. ~ This calls out to me this moment.
